It’s Friday, and we have cleanups to do.
Clement Street Happy Hour Cleanup clocking in with a solid turnout of 28 volunteers who picked up trash, then threw back beers.
34 cleanups scheduled this weekend, so plenty of opportunities to join in. See you out there San Francisco!
Thanks to a grant from @taaforg we’re doing outreach to Asian American communities educating on ways to help keep the city clean.
Today, we canvassed Chinatown, with our door hangers translated to Chinese, with info about our campaign, SF311, and @recology bulky item pickups.
Afterwards, we had lunch at V Cafe that hosts our post Chinatown Cleanup meals every Saturday afternoon.

Sunday cleanups have become one of our favorite parts of the week. It’s a chance to spend time outside, care for the Tenderloin together, meet new people, and make a visible difference in the neighborhood. Cleaning up is fundamental and we have a fun doing it.
This afternoon, volunteers met at the Richmond Branch Library and cleaned the surrounding neighborhood. Especially important in areas where young children come to.

We conducted at neighborhood cleanup the team from @sfsymphony around Davies Symphony Hall this morning.
They are dedicated to bringing arts & culture to the community and today they helped create a culture of community service.
Not surprising, but still unbelievable, 540 volunteers at 29 cleanups over this past Mother's Day weekend picked up 580+ trash bags filled with litter from San Francisco streets, parks, and beaches.
A nice little present for all the Mom's and for Mother Earth.

Giving San Francisco a glow up with the team from @sephora this morning in SOMA.
30 volunteers spread out and picked up litter along the Embarcadero and under the Bay Bridge, then @sfpublicworks was there to haul it away.
