A DECADE AND MORE!!!
My Father, the master planner!! My mother, the prayer warrior, ever loving!! My siblings, the absolute best you can ever ask or wish for. Friends and Colleagues, the support system you can rely on.
I remember when I was in Senior Secondary School 3, getting ready for WAEC (2009) and my dad asked me what I wanted to study in the University. I told him Economics, (have it in mind that I was a science student and I could have studied something entirely different). I remember him saying and I quote - " to become an Economist you would have to read up to Ph.D level". It seemed like mere words but....
....12 years later, I have a PhD in Economics from the Prestigious University of Afe Babalola University 🎓. The best University in Nigeria (ranked by The Times Higher Education Impact).
Bsc Economics, Uniosun (2015)
Msc Economics, Abuad (2018)
Phd Economics, Abuad (2022)
Let's trackback a little bit, shall we?
In 2009, I failed both Mathematics and English in WAEC... It took me 3 WAEC's to finally clear my results, add 3 NECO's to that 😂 😂. Infact if I didn't pass my exams in 2010, I would have been sent back to Senior Secondary School 2. I finally did pass it and in one seating also. Trust me, I wasn't dull, I just lacked focus and direction. Don't tell anyone but the real problem was gaming centre, suya and Tosco yoghurt 😂 😂
Today at 29 years old, I have a Ph.D, I'm a Chartered Banker, well on my way to becoming a Chartered Accountant. I have Certifications in Entrepreneurship, Real Estate, Project Management, Customer Relations, Computer Engineering and Networking 😂 😂 😂 yea I'm surprised too... I also have Diploma in Acting, Creative Producing for film/TV. I'm a Strategist, a Researcher, an Economist and a Filmmaker. I'm jack of all trade, master of a few...
I have failed but I have never stayed a failure. I'm blessed without words. I have persevered, stayed focus, travel for hours and hours (on Nigeria bad road), I have cried, been broke, still broke 😂 😂 😂 but then, I came, I saw and I have conquered.
Congratulations 🎊 to me #konirewa

What a way to end MARCH... Visionary, Grateful, & Impactful
The audacity to build is a silent prayer answered. 🙏🏾✨
When I founded Konirewa Studios Limited, the goal was never just to make films. It was to build a sustainable infrastructure for African STORIES, to prove that our narratives are not just cultural assets, but powerful economic engines.
Today, that vision receives a significant affirmation.
I am honored to announce my selection for the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme, Cohort 12.
Out of a staggering 265,000+ applicants across the continent, I am humbled to be among the 3,200 entrepreneurs chosen to lead the next wave of African enterprise.
Perhaps the most sobering detail is this: only about 3% of those selected represent the media and creative industries. To be part of that 3% is a responsibility I do not take lightly. It is a testament to the fact that storytelling, when backed by structure and strategy, is a formidable business frontier.
My profound gratitude goes to Mr. Tony Elumelu, CFR @tonyoelumelu and the Tony Elumelu Foundation @tonyelumelufoundation@tefconnect for this laudable programme. Through this initiative, you are not just funding businesses; you are architecting the future of African self-reliance. Your commitment to Africapitalism provides the oxygen for dreams like mine to scale from local concepts to global enterprises.
This milestone belongs to the team at Konirewa Studios. The journey from a first attempt to this selection reinforces one truth: Success is a blend of divine grace and disciplined preparation. The work continues. 🚀

Out of thousands of applications across Africa, I’m grateful to share that I was selected into the African Impact Challenge (AIC) 2026 Bootcamp.
Last week, the journey officially began.
Our first sessions focused on Momentum Baseline and Growth Readiness, and it forced me to pause and look deeply at where Konirewa Studios @konirewastudios stands today, not just as a creative company, but as a business built for growth, sustainability, and impact.
For years, storytelling has been my tool, producing films, building teams, and creating stories that reflect who we are. But this season is about something bigger, building structure around creativity, strengthening systems, and preparing our media business to scale beyond ideas into lasting institutions.
Being selected into the Country Innovation Stream, Momentum Track is a reminder that the work we are doing matters, and that the next level requires clarity, discipline, and intentional growth.
Thank you to the African Impact Initiative team @africanimpactin for creating a platform that supports African entrepreneurs who are building solutions that matter.
This is just the beginning. The work continues.

There’s something about stepping into unfamiliar spaces.
New streets.
New rooms.
New conversations.
Cold mornings. Fast trains.
Rooms filled with ideas, ambition, and possibility.
Where stories are currency.
Where handshakes carry vision.
Where quiet confidence speaks louder than noise.
Growth doesn’t always announce itself.
Sometimes it looks like listening more than talking.
Sometimes it feels like standing in rooms you once imagined.
Every meeting.
Every exchange.
Every door opened — seen and unseen.
Not just travel.
Expansion.
Not just presence.
Positioning.
As a new month begins,
I carry the clarity, the connections, the conviction.
I don’t just step forward.
I MARCH into greatness.
Happy New Month 🎊 🎊

I showed up for knowledge.
I left with five performances.
What started as a simple visit on the 12th became an unexpected return to the stage for Throne of Ashes at Woolwich Works.
By the 13th and 14th, I was performing, two shows on Friday, three on Saturday. Intense. Energising. Beautiful.
Sometimes the stage reminds you who you’ve always been.
Producer, yes. But still an actor at heart.
Grateful to the organisers @officialthesumi and director, the legendary @akinlewis_official for the trust, to the incredible actors @chief_femibranch@jidealabi__jdalabye@ronkeoshodioke@bola_stephen@thedamilolaoni@eze_meju@mr.okeowo@mr.lowkeyvibez@falohjagaban@adebisi_shonde@onlyfisayo@officialkunmie@hadurha@tf.olabisi@iamteetime@_itz_rosey6 , and every single cast and crew for the synergy and positive spirit all through. Big cheers to @woolwichworks for hosting such a powerful show.
Not forgetting our amazing stage manager @isaac_bholu and the amazing @prince_bimbos for some of the amazing pictures and videos.
And a big shout out to @owoboogunde for gracing us with his presence...
What a weekend. What a reminder. 🔥
