Highlights from the 2026 @transcorpgroup Annual General Meeting, where we again demonstrated what is possible when African businesses lead in transforming Africa.
We delivered strong performance across all sectors - and rewarded our shareholders with total dividends of ₦74.8 billion: § Transcorp Plc – ₦20.3 billion § Transcorp Hotels – ₦13.3 billion § Transcorp Power – ₦41.25 billion § Total dividends paid out by Transcorp Group for 2025 Financial Year – ₦75 billion
With this consistent performance, we create sustainable value, reward investor confidence, and prove that long-term investments in Africa work. We continue to build businesses that solve Africa’s challenges, while creating returns for shareholders. From power, hospitality and energy, we make impact at scale.
Today, our power businesses (Transcorp Power PLC and TransAfam) have a combined installed capacity of about 2,000MW, one of the largest power producers on the continent.
We have also built one of the most significant private-sector platforms, in an industry still dominated by state-owned utilities. This is Africapitalism in action, private sector leadership driving economic transformation, improving lives, creating jobs, and powering communities.
I am particularly proud of the confidence our shareholders continue to show in our vision and execution. Their excitement at the AGM reminds us that value creation, strong governance, and operational excellence will be rewarded.
