🔵 As @seriesmania draws closer, we’re excited to re-introduce the talented writers participating in the AuthenticA Series Lab! 🤩📝 (3/4) Once again, meet Reem Morsi 🇪🇬 @reemm_director Reem Morsi is a filmmaker with a background as a professional scuba diver and human rights advocate. Her award-winning short films have screened internationally, including at TIFF (2012), while her feature projects include “Banned”(Telefilm Talent to Watch, shortlisted for Sundance, now on its festival run), “Queen Tut”, and episodes of “Virgins!” including the season finale. She is developing the TV series “Zahra’s Faces” and “Sweet & Sore”, alongside the sci-fi project “Fish”, which won the Canadian National Genre Competition, and two additional scripted series. A participant in Berlinale Script Station, Realness Institute, Cannes Cinéma du Monde, TIFF Talents, Torino Feature Comedy Lab, the Canadian Film Centre, Women in the Director’s Chair, and Warner Bros. Director’s Program, Reem’s previous credits include Their Feast (TIFF, BBC, Cine Sud), “Nostalgia”, “The Door” (Whistler, Yorkton Film Festival winner), and “Show & Tell”.
