It's not the kids these days.
It's the adults.
The way we gather.
They look UP to us.
We are looking DOWN at a phone.
Everywhere.
Their brain signals are fractured.
The dopamine drop for a child is crazy.
At Reboot, we use different frequencies to help guide them to a place of focus. Boundaries with phones help for the delivery system to run with fluidity.
Example : At Reboot, High energy children and those that would be considered "ADD" are usually more focused to high energy music. They draw the most amazing art, and then their parents say they never had an interest in drawing.
We call it "Musical Adderall"

PS. We've had serious conversations with the kids who come here. We are NOT saying video games are bad. We are just trying to help with coming up with a plan for when they/we stop playing.
Creating environments that can still stimulate their brains.

We’re excited to have JoJoSOUL holding down the drums for us! He’ll be helping bridge the Reboot NYC and Ecstatic Dance NYC communities, where he’s a staple and recurring drummer for both.
Beyond that, JoJo holds down the drum for many communities across the city. What we love most about him is his work with youth and his genuine commitment to community building. He's a real deal New Yorker, he brings the same vibrant energy whether he’s performing at major events or teaching in a kids school program. We’re honored to have him help bridge the communities in this FULL CIRCLE vibe.

So I attempted to make a video promoting pur next collab with @ecstaticdancenyc .
Actually I made many attempts. I usually use characters with wigs to help express myself. I find it much easier. 😅
So anywhoooo.
Next weeks dance is going to be a special one. We are coming full circle with a community that we do many special dances with on the outdoors.
If you've been before or its your first time, this is the Reboot to come to. Its a huge space with multiple Djs playing in different areas of the venue on 🎧 and speakers.
We are connecting Reboots headphone rig with Ecstatic Dances Speaker system and when we do that ....booooom.
@daya_mama will be leading a yoga warmup.
@djfatin and @edwin.socraft will be playing in the main room on the hybrid speaker/headphone system.
@nicky.mac.somatics and @the.hybrid.place will be holding down the blue and red channel on the 🎧 in the outdoor and upper indoor space of the loft.
@jojosoul will be playing the drums 🪘 and helping us give the full circle a center.
@umerpiracha will bringing the circle back down to center with his magical voice.
@billy_ddd and @myk2melo emceeing the bobbity boop.
