This week on Substack: perfectionism, peeing my pants, learning that participation is always better than perfection, barking at civilians, break up stories, and my grandma! Maybe give it a read (link in bio)
@printandresist was awesome! Thank you @movietheaterstories for making it special. Madison is the most wholesome city in the world.
I’ve entered “reels” and I’m working on a new comic zine. I always start on flashcards. Idk why🤷🏻♀️ where do you start? #writing #stories #ishard #keepgoing #pov
Just shared a new Paper Guts newsletter all about heartache, transformation, and some oranges. I also have a NEW riso print available in my shop. Some old stuff is also on sale. I’m doing a bit of spring cleaning to let new treasures in. Maybe join me on Substack for more playful ramblings about life post death?
I’m taking these with me to @printandresist along with other works by folks at @zineclubcolumbus .
I wanted to make a comic that looked like this song and invited people to the dance floor like @clubsalsaz And I did! Wooohooo!! Snag a copy of Cochina #1 to see if she faces her fear of dancing in public. Dm me or find it somewhere around town. Tbh this one is still a work in progress but I’m happy I got immediate feedback from the crowd at Distractor with @drawbhell . I can’t wait to see what shenanigans Cochina gets up to with @comicsbyeva
Zine Out Loud is back in collaboration with Print and Resist. This is a comics reading extravaganza featuring some of the best cartoonists of the midwest.

Officially announcing that I’m in my Cochina Era! Just a mini I made for a class assignment with @comicsworkshop on two-track storytelling. Will give them away at SPACE next weekend!
Hi I made this thing that’s nailed to a wall at @wildgoosecreative . Thanks for a good year in the artist incubator program! @joleanna_designs is the best mentor and muralist in town 🫶🏼
This piece was my first time using a nib and brush. Crazy crazy street cred to those who do that on the reg.
Thought I’d share what I’m doing in @comicsworkshop Year Long Program so far! I wrote about my troubled relationship to homework, Lynda Barry @thenearsightedmonkey , and a still very modern romance.
New Substack post is live! Link is in my bio. Read it or don’t 🤷🏻♀️
If you’re into comics, process, or messy creative honesty, this one’s for you boo 💕
