Never would I have imagined that I'd finally pass this milestone. Wednesday was life changing for me. 9(almost 10) years ago I had to drop out of University due to financial constraints, I started working and let myself believe that maybe that piece of paper wasn't meant for me. It wasn't until my dad (see second picture) let me know that he didn't want me to give up on that dream that I finally applied to go through this University thing again. I have been so incredibly blessed; with a father who is the biggest pillar in my life, he has supported me, accepted me, loved me and made me fight harder for my place in the world, with a mother(3rd picture) who instilled in me the importance of education, with the best siblings (
@mkayitu (who made sure I looked amazing in my graduation fit)
@thxto.twxlx @ntswakimokone , Katleho Twala and Kamohelo Twala) in the world who ride for me even when I sometimes forget to ride for myself, who see me for my neurodivergent annoying self and still choose me everyday.
And to my chosen family and my gorgeous friends, who have made this journey a thousand times easier. Thank you for choosing me, for supporting me and for always ALWAYS believing in me.
