I guess weāre back to Monday posting š My first experiment didnāt go as planned (ink soap bubbles) so I had to pivot. But the results were worth it! My favorite image is the reflection shot - it took me all day to figure out how to make it work. And each image gave me an idea for the next one - trying to erase facial features, pull strips out, joining images, etc

A couple months back, I got to meet @greglutze@joel_flory and see how @vsco was shaping their platform for professional photographers. Cut to now, I got to test their Film 02 Lightroom presets. Iām obsessed with testing and comparing techniques and technologies so it was fun.
The problem is, I use Capture One, so in LR I feel like a newborn fawn, but the presets were easy to use, even for me. They were a great fit for Emeka and Zeyiās portfolio shoot. The presets mold beautifully through the gamut of images even when I shot slightly over or underexposed. That flexibility is something Iām missing in my set of CO film presets. This limited release is available for VSCOās pro members; if youāre already a LR fan, itās a perfect tool to add to your kit.

Passing Notes
About that wishing tree. Not only did Jody write soooo many wishes on her own, but she had an idea that the team should each write a wish too. I love that everyone has a wish somewhere in there. Iām ever thankful for everyone being willing to bring their talents to a personal project.
Fun fact, the red envelope on the table is the last one I got from my grandpa before he passed. I meant to remove the āFrom Agongā, my mom wrote, but ended up leaving it in for him. I still keep the $1000NT($30) he gave me in it.

@godox_global sent me the new AD600ProII and the BFP projector!
My kit has consisted of two older AD600s for years. That third light gives me so much flexibility for moments like this. The projector attachment emits smooth spotlights without the massive power banks on constant lights.
