@scadfash in Atlanta asked us to enhance archival footage for their exhibition “Imane Ayissi: From Africa to the World”. @imane_ayissi creations were isolated from past runway shows using bespoke rotoscope and compositing techniques. @pixelsorter.studio was used for transitions and @topazlabs was used for slow motion and 4K upscaling.
We worked with director @mrtomsic to enhance reenactments of true tales from the sunshine state. In total we completed 120 shots that featured our favorite comedians in this outrageous series executive produced by Danny McBride.
With this new AI roto tool, I can select a person, then that person walks off camera and and when they come back in frame they’re STILL SELECTED! 🤯 This is real time! A whole day of work is done in like 2 minutes. It’s not perfect but it’s really good and useful for many jobs. Out of all the new roto tools, @runwayapp is the best in my opinion.
@sponjband asked us to help with the visuals for their new single “The Best”. So we took The Magic Roses (1906), by Segundo Chomón (a pioneer in visual effects), to new heights. We used two new essential tools: Photoshop generative fill to extend the canvas and Topaz AI to sharpen and bring back details. Then After Effects to bring back a little grain and flicker. ACTOR SWAP! For the @americanfilminstitute Life Achievement Award, we worked with Director Chris Merrill to convert the iconic AMC ad into a tribute to recipient Nicole Kidman, but starring the legendary Morgan Freeman. Director of Photography Indeana Underhill ensured that the lighting and camera angles were a match for each shot. Matthew T. Perry supervised the green screen. Edited by Josh Porro. We worked with director @seankingogrady and his production team to augment the dystopian prison cell in The Mill on Hulu, starring @comedianlilrel . Over 400 visual effects shots included sky replacements, 3D scene extension, wall projection, digital interfaces, and paint work. @semiformal.studio supplied the compelling animation and branding of the sinister Mallard Corporation.
We had the privilege of designing the Purple Glitter Demon for @bestlauraever ‘s hilarious Halloween romp. Our team delivered over 100 shots including 3D animation, interface design, compositing and the main title. Laugh your butt off now on Paramount+ and other streamers!
We worked with writer, director and lead actor James Morosini on his uniquely personal and entertaining film which won the SXSW Grand Jury & Audience Awards. For communication via phone screen and browser chats, we built interfaces from scratch in order to have complete control of the story elements. In total, we delivered over 200 visual effects shots including animation, compositing and clean up.

I had the honor of seeing them in person as on-set supervisor, and one of the highlights of my career was working with legendary director Larry Charles. In post, our @readymadevfx artists delivered over 90 shots including rod removal, green screen, smoke simulation and 2D character animation.
