Tomorrow we’re going to be at our first writer’s festival at @addiroad ! To have visual storytelling like comics and cartoons recognised like this is something to celebrate. So do it. In the crowd. If someone could bring a piñata that would be epic. NO party poppers, though. Fionn is scared of loud noises.

This Saturday at @addiroad we will be doing some readings and then hosting a panel - which we should be good at, because you know, comics have panels - where we confess our deepest darkest secrets but only ones that are exclusive to live storytelling.
It’s a whole day of events, so grab a ticket and immerse yourself in this huge, huge event. Link in bio!

We have a crazy cool lineup for this Tuesday. It’s gonna be soooo good. Crazily good. In primary school everyone collected these things called ‘krazy bonez’. Anyone remember them? Did I make them up? Anyway, there are going to be even more crazy bones in the room this Tuesday. Cuz of how crazy the lineup of people we have is. People are made up of bones.

Join us on Thu 5 Feb at 12 PM AEDT for the launch of ‘Folio’, a new website dedicated to Stories of Australian Comics!
‘Folio’ is a new website for creators, readers and researchers that showcases stories from the Australian comics community (1980-2020). In this webinar, Australian comic artists and researchers discuss why and how they created Folio, and how comics offer a powerful way of seeing and understanding Australia. Over the next year, ‘Folio’ will expand to include oral histories and ephemera from this dynamic period in Australian graphic storytelling.
