had to post this absolute crown jewel of a review by @honi_soit @anyathirumalai for the Sydney comedy festival run of Boy Problems 🍒 writing, performing, touring and sharing this show has been one of the most unexpected and rewarding experiences of my entire life. thank you to my director @ari___angkasa for pushing me to be a freak, to go there with my most bizarre ideas and telling me when a concept was absolutely not it. I feel so honoured and lucky that you trusted me enough to jump on this project. No words can thank you enough. Boy Problems is nothing without you Thank you to @ratgirl2025 @andrew.fraser for making all the imagery so cunty and iconic. Blew me away every bloody time Thank you to the GOAT @yanis.varoufakis for giving the world such an incredible framework with Technofeudalism. Reading that book felt like an everything falling into place moment, and gave me the vocabulary to develop this work the way I had always envisioned it Thank you to @amy.kimball for jumping on email duty, you saved my ASS AND LASTLY THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO CAME TO A SHOW. It blew me away how many people were open to taking a chance on a random ass person they’d never heard of. Whether there were 2 people in the audience or 50, every night was so silly and special in its own way, so thank you to everyone who bought a ticket to “the show with the big boobs” as I overheard one audience member lovingly say ❤️ unsure what the future holds for Boy Problems (one more run is locked in for now, in a brand new city, oooh exciting) but thank u all for making my debut so fucking iconic. Love you

WHERE ARE MY TWTWB HEADS AT ??!? Actual dream to write about one of my favourite movies as a teenager for @guardianaustralia 🩷…. still so so good after all this time. Aussie movies are the best. Also I pitched this and was like “I wanna reread the books”…. The next day a first edition paperback turned up in my local street library. I’m now up to book four…. I really do need the sequels @screenaustralia let’s get on that xx
