Stepping away from the series I’m most comfortable with, pushing past my comfort zone, and putting myself in an uneasy place is something I’ve been doing on purpose these past few years.The BREAK series is about breaking out of where I am, dropping my old style, and building new ways of thinking and imagining. It’s a conversation with myself — a kind of reset, in both my work and my life. It’s about really feeling the changes happening in my mind and body at this moment, facing them, learning to accept them, and learning how to enjoy the process.
