這次為了慶祝駐紐約辦事處臺北文化中心成立35週年，文化部推出「Taiwan POP臺灣上奅—曼哈頓臺灣文化黑潮」計畫，將於5月至9月接連在紐約舉辦藝文系列活動。
而我們參加的是布魯克林指標性的街頭藝術節「The Bushwick Collective」，將於5/22～5/30進行為期一週的壁畫創作、藝術家座談會、封街派對等活動，

Hello everyone ! we’re heading to New York to represent Taiwan!
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Taipei Cultural Center in New York, the Ministry of Culture has launched the “Taiwan POP” project, a series of cultural and artistic events that will take place across New York City from May through September.
We’ll be participating in Brooklyn’s iconic street art festival, The Bushwick Collective, from May 22–30. The week-long program will include mural painting, artist panel discussions, block parties, and more.
The Taiwanese artists participating this year are:

In a lot of families, it’s the parents who quietly carry everything, doing their best and giving so much just to help their kids grow up happy and healthy.
In fairy tales, Princess needs magic to turn things around, but in real life, that kind of magic shows up in small, everyday moments, slowly making life feel more stable and full of joy.

今天是318學運12週年，很高興可以為民主進步黨繪製這幅象徵自由的插畫，遙想當年318發生時，我剛好在南部，晚上看到消息說有人衝進立法院了，那當下我真的是坐立難安，恨不得馬上坐車上台北聲援，整晚也睡不著覺一直盯著手機更新資訊，後來行政院衝突時我舉牌舉一舉被警察架著丟出去又是另一個故事了….
不過，這場運動大大的影響了台灣的民主發展，有人發光有人殞落，但也因此讓人民認清真正的敵人是誰，讓自由民主、反抗威權的種子在更多人心中茁壯。

Today marks the 12th anniversary of the 3/18 Sunflower Movement. I’m honored to have created this illustration symbolizing freedom for DPP Taiwan.
Looking back to when it all happened, I was in southern Taiwan. That night, when I saw the news that people had stormed the Legislative Yuan, I couldn’t sit still. I wanted nothing more than to get on a train to Taipei and show my support. I couldn’t sleep at all—I stayed up the whole night, constantly refreshing my phone for updates.
Later, during the clashes at the Executive Yuan, I was holding a sign when the police dragged me out and threw me aside… but that’s another story.
This movement had a profound impact on Taiwan’s democratic development. Some people rose, some fell, but it helped many of us clearly see who the real enemy is. It planted and nurtured the seeds of freedom, democracy, and resistance against authoritarianism in more people’s hearts.
Defend freedom, protect democracy.
I hope we can stay strong, always.

《TAICHILLLAND》黑雞先生 塗鴉創作展
藝術家黑雞先生（Mr.OGAY） 將其獨具辨識度的角色與幽默荒誕的視覺語言帶入展場，打造一個充滿想像與衝突美感的創作世界《TAICHILLLAND》。
此展覽延續了去年的《WEIRDLAND》創作脈絡，在這個奇怪又鮮豔的世界裡，誇張變形的角色、街頭塗鴉式的自由筆觸，以及帶有玩味與嘲諷精神的圖像，構成一場介於流行文化與當代藝術之間的視覺冒險，並且融合了台中市人稱Taichill City的特殊城市氛圍，觀眾將跟隨藝術家的角色，一起進入充滿幽默、怪誕與童趣的想像國度，感受街頭藝術的直接能量與創作魅力。

TAICHILLLAND — Mr. OGAY solo Exhibition
Street artist Mr. OGAY brings his distinctive characters and absurd, humorous visual language into the exhibition space, creating an imaginative world filled with playful tension and visual contrasts — TAICHILLLAND.
This exhibition continues the creative narrative from last year’s WEIRDLAND. In this strange yet vibrant universe, exaggerated characters, graffiti-inspired free brushstrokes, and imagery filled with wit and satire come together to form a visual adventure situated between pop culture and contemporary art.
The exhibition also incorporates the unique urban vibe of Taichung - often nicknamed “Taichill City.” Visitors are invited to follow the artist’s characters into a whimsical world full of humor, oddity, and childlike imagination, experiencing the raw energy and expressive spirit of street art.
In addition to showcasing a series of works by Mr. OGAY, the exhibition will also feature a live graffiti painting session, allowing visitors to observe the artist’s creative process up close. An artist talk will also be held to share insights into his artistic practice and street art culture.

對小孩子來說，最開心的時間就是泡澡了，把所有的玩具一口氣全倒到放滿水的浴缸裡，看著它們載浮載沉，腦海中頓時上演了好幾齣戲碼，邊泡邊玩直到水涼，然後被罵「還不快起來！要感冒了！」 到現在長大了其實還是會懷念這個美好時光。

For kids, the happiest time is bath time.
Pouring all the toys into a bathtub filled with water, watching them float and sink, and suddenly a whole series of imaginary scenes starts playing in your head. You keep soaking and playing until the water turns cold—then comes the scolding: “Get out now! You’re going to catch a cold!”
Even now, as an adult, I still find myself missing those simple, beautiful moments.
