LA-Texas-Farmingdale NY-Hartford-New Hampshire-Massachusetts-North Carolina-California. 23 hr trip to take 110 dogs and a couple of cats towards a better life. The reason? Over-breeding and not enough spaying/nuetering of our animal pals. The shelters get over-crowded and these guys are put on euthanasia lists. @wingsofrescue_official and their partners take those in terrible circumstances and fly them across country to shelters that have the space to get them settled and into foster/adoption homes ready to change their lives.
It takes a huge amount of effort from the greatest of people to make these flights happen. A huge thank you to all the volunteers and shelter owners who came out in the middle of the night and at dawn to help us load and unload the aircraft. To our amazing pilots, Chuck and Patrick for getting us across the country quickly and safely. Special shout to Patrick for not only co/piloting, but for meeting us at the hatch at every stop to help lower the crates to the tarmac and for driving us an hour to Manchester after flying all night. Good people make a huge difference.
@neldabell for being the ultimate leader and cockpit roommate through the whole mission. There aren’t enough words to describe her kindness and work ethic. Incredible and important organization and labor from start to finish. Also has the best lemon loaf for communal breakfast this side of Starbucks!
These trips are tough. Seeing our animal friends confused and scared, not knowing what their lives are currently and what is about to transpire isn’t easy to navigate. Some voice it, others sit in solitude. It’s a long journey and a fearful one. It’s our job to keep it as comfortable as possible for them. Adopt a dog. Adopt a cat. Get them neutered. Give them a good life. We owe them that.
I would have taken all 112. Rotties to Pitts to pugs to collies to labs. Puppies to senior. All handed their cards. This way, we try to have them win the lottery. Please help continue the task if you can. The dogs, (and cats), will thank you.

A year ago today, my soulmate continued her journey. My life changed forever that afternoon. Always remembered, kid. Always.
Most folks think she was named Easy after Easy Co. Truth is, she was named after a rapper because she was straight outta Compton. Hope Eazy E is running around with the Mona. Until next time, kid.

Dogs on the euthanasia list in LA get a lifeline from @wingsofrescue_official as they are transported across the country to homes and shelters with space.
Likeminded people working into the night for a common cause. Pure team effort. Give them a like, a follow and a donation if it speaks to you. 112 pups were saved. It was a good day.

Very blessed to be shooting in Morocco. So the latest trip around the sun was welcomed in the good grace of the @royalmansourmarrakech who took us on a culinary journey. Huge thanks goes to Laurent @royalmansourcasablanca for his impeccable hospitality and organization. Having my Dad and brother join added to the fortunate location.
Thanks for all of your messages. I read each and every one. I appreciate you all.

See this? 24 years of knowing the imprint and the importance of a legacy that bonded our Easy Co almost as close as those we portrayed. Getting to trot around Europe when we can, is nothing short of sincere good fortune. But to do it with the brotherhood that we’ve been gifted will forever leave a gratifying and memorable legacy of our own. Easy company changed the world. And they undoubtedly changed ours. Brother R. What a trip. Got you covered. Always.
