A wonderful night at the @bbc #AudioDramaAwards last night. For us it was all about dear Olly*, really, but it was a room full of talent and support and people who love and appreciate audio drama. Joyous stuff. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners.
* - that's double-award winner on the night and two-time Tinniswood Award winner, Oliver Emanuel. Just fyi... 😉
Olly had part-written a drama, alongside documenting his brain-cancer journey and, after his passing, his brilliant partner, @vickiebeesley and equally brilliant producer, @kirsty78williams , used both to create "One Hundred and Fifty Days", which I, @shaunamacdonaldofficial and Robbie Jack (who were both fantastic) had the privilege of performing. The recognition for Olly last night was the culmination of a long journey. A fitting coda to the life of this particular piece. 🧡

It's been some adventure, taking in rivers, lochs, reservoirs, ex-fisheries, tin baths, whisky barrels and the sea! I would never have done it without the initial cajoling and subsequent encouragement from my fellow "Ducking Dookers", @p.k.lynch , @jammyvet , @biggarglassworks , @loucifer13 , Kirsty and Kristina.
