‼️LIVE from Dallas.
Tonight, more than 160 dogs and cats of all sizes lifted off toward new beginnings in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York.
And somewhere among them was Chomp… the 91,000th pet Wings of Rescue has flown to safety.
91,000 lives.
91,000 stories interrupted before tragedy.
91,000 reminders of what happens when people choose to care.
Early Saturday morning, another planeload of pets departs Puerto Rico for New Jersey.
Hundreds of lives moved to safety in less than 24 hours.
To every donor, every supporter, every person who shares our mission, wears our merchandise, advocates for spay and neuter, or helps keep these planes in the air… thank you.
You are part of every takeoff.
Every landing.
Every life saved.

154 souls rescued on Tuesday… and tonight, we do it again.
Last mission started in Riverside and Atwater, California, then carried us through Oregon, Washington, and finally Spokane — helping move 154 at-risk cats and dogs toward safety, foster homes, and second chances.
24 hours awake. Heavy crates. Banged up body. Exhaustion you feel deep in your bones.
Still worth every second.
Because somewhere tonight, 154 animals are sleeping safer because people chose to show up.
As I post this from Fort Lauderdale, I’m about to board another life-saving mission with @wingsofrescue_official — headed to Puerto Rico to help transport 160 dogs from the incredible rescue @thesatoproject founded by the indomitable @chrissybeckles to new lives and loving homes.
We’ll begin loading at midnight, wheels up around 2 a.m., then flying to Morristown where many of these dogs are already pre-adopted thanks to the incredible work of Chrissy Beckles and her team.
Proud to serve as a Flight Crew Leader and Board Member for @wingsofrescue_official #letthefurfly
✈️ This week alone, flights from California, Houston, Dallas, and Fort Lauderdale will move hundreds of pets toward safety and entirely different futures.
Puppies. Kittens. Dogs and cats who simply needed more time, more space, and another opportunity.
This is what large-scale lifesaving looks like in real time.
And while the flights are emotional to watch, the reality behind them is much bigger: pet overpopulation continues to overwhelm shelters across the country.
Thank you to every person helping keep these missions moving through support, shares, advocacy, and partnership.
If your company, foundation, or organization is interested in helping expand this work, we would love to connect.

Some of these puppies could lose their lives simply because there is nowhere left to put them.
Instead, this week they are scheduled to leave Houston for a completely different future.
Safe flights. Open arms. Another chance.
Tiny lives carrying enormous weight.

⚠️ Thursday’s Houston flight is urgent.
160 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are scheduled to leave overcrowding behind and fly toward safety in Minnesota.
As Houston prepares for major international events, shelters already struggling with capacity are facing even more pressure. Intake is rising fast, and without relief, innocent pets run out of time.
These are not “bad” pets. Many are friendly, healthy, adoptable pets who simply ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
This flight matters.
Please help us keep these missions moving by donating, sharing, and standing with the rescue partners fighting every day to save lives.

There’s a side of rescue most people never see.
Not the flight photos. Not the happy endings. Not the celebrations after takeoff.
It’s the late-night calls. The overflowing kennels. The shelter teams trying to create space during puppy and kitten season while intake keeps rising faster than pets are leaving.
That reality is what moves us.
From Texas to California to Florida and beyond, we work with partners across North America and the Caribbean to create opportunity where it’s needed most.
What started in 2012 with one small plane has now helped move more than 90,000 pets toward safety.
Houston, we’re on our way. ✈️

🐾 Tiny passengers. Big futures.
Over the next three weeks, 11 Wings of Rescue transports will move hundreds of pets toward new beginnings, including our upcoming Houston flight carrying 160 little lives.
This photo captures more than a cute moment. It’s what hope looks like in motion. Tiny paws stepping into entirely different outcomes because people across the country chose to work together.
Different cities. Different shelters. One shared purpose.

I had the most amazing experience when I recently went to the Bahamas on a mission with @neldabell@wingsofrescue_official & @therealdavidchokachi
They say the most difficult things in life make the greatest impacts and change you forever. That’s exactly what happened. The devastation and despair were overwhelming. The sheer number of dogs in need gutted me. But, the incredible family at the @bahamashumanesociety that were fighting so hard for each life and each dog, so full of love and hope, kept us all going. When we focus on drive and faith, we get somewhere. Despair can be channeled into fired-up inspiration. It means a second chance. And even if that’s one dog at a time… it’s one precious life like Dalia, that deserved all these warriors fighting for her. She’s already blessed more humans & hearts than you can imagine.
I hope other humans see this and realize, working together means life-saving impact, whether it’s on the ground, donating funds or opening your home, it can all amount to life, instead of death, and extraordinary rewards. Above all, I hope every dog knows they matter and with more help, we can soon get to them, thanks to Wings Of Rescue providing the opportunity of saving hundreds at a time!

✈️ Houston, we’re headed your way.
Next week, Wings of Rescue will launch a large-scale flight out of Texas during one of the most difficult times of year for shelters.
Texas currently euthanizes more pets than any other state in the country, and the combination of overcrowding, limited funding, lack of space, and puppy and kitten season has created enormous pressure on shelters and rescue partners.
But this is also what community impact looks like.
Partners preparing for arrivals. Adopters waiting. Rescue teams refusing to give up. Entire communities stepping in to change outcomes together.
One flight can shift hundreds of lives.

⚠️ 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐬.
Not because the shelters didn’t care.
Not because the pets were bad.
Not because they were unadoptable.
Many were puppies. Kittens. Purebreds. Friendly dogs who would have slept in someone’s bed if they had been born somewhere else.
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.
So, for 40 transports this year alone, planes became the line between life and death.
Now May begins with eight more flights already scheduled. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐮𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧, 𝐓𝐗 𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞!
That number should bother people. 𝐈𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. Because no shelter worker should have to choose who gets more time and who does not.
This is what your support interrupts.

When you see pets being loaded onto our planes, you’re not watching a random moment.
You’re watching a plan come together.
These flights are built with shelter partners across North America and the Caribbean. Every pet on board has a destination, a team waiting, and a real path forward.
This is not guesswork. This is coordination, timing, and trust between organizations that know exactly what’s at stake.
And it only works because people choose to be part of it.
Every share. Every donation. Every conversation about spay and neuter keeps this moving.
When you look into the eyes of a pet on our plane, you’re looking at a life that continued because someone decided it should.
Thank you for making that decision matter.

✈️ This week, Wings of Rescue has two flights leaving California.
There’s a reason.
California, Texas, and Florida are facing the highest levels of pet overpopulation—where shelters are overwhelmed and pets are euthanized simply because space runs out.
It’s easy to think it doesn’t affect you.
It does.
When one region is overwhelmed, the entire system feels it.
We move pets from where there is no space to communities ready to help—creating relief and real opportunity.
Support makes this possible. Link in bio.
