I’m still recovering from how special this show was and how tired I am lol but being production/stage manager (my first time) for this show was an experience that I will forever be grateful. Being amongst great artistry in dance (both ground and aerial), lighting, and directing was a privilege. Thank you Joanna @zacchosf for your vision and empowering me to do this! Thank you Chi Chi @c2orhythmandarts for being a pillar to lean on. Thank you Krissy and Frankenstein for being awesome collaborators.
Thank you to the artists for your extraordinary work and kindness. I love cards, so the one you are wrote is a token that I will cherish! @wilferoni@veronica_blair_aerialist@thatsomajor@amarat.smith@bodystorm___@clarissardyas@elii_shi
Day 40 of Worship in Dance for #lent
We made it! “Silent Scream” by Daryl Coley is a powerful song that illustrates how God sees us no matter what facades we try to put up. God deserves too much glory and we can’t be so selfish to not show others that we are flawed and need Him! He is not just Lord & Savior because of his sacrifice on the Christ. He continues to show up as those and so much more for us. Scripture says that while we were yet sinners he died for us. That “while we were yet” blesses me. While I am yet….Christ does something for me and all the more as I walk in obedience and testify of His goodness. It’s always a good time to surrender your life to Christ Jesus!
Scripture Ref: Romans 5:8
Day 39 of Worship in Dance for #lent
“A Better Word” by Benita Jones. A beautiful song for this season, but it plays year round for me. “O, The blood poured out for me!” 🙌🏾🧎🏾♂️➡️
1 Corinthians 55-57 & Hebrews 12:24
Day 38 of Worship in Dance for #lent
“Our Father is Kind” by @briancourtneywilson is not long enough lol. God our Father is kind. I started hearing this phrase this year, “In His kindness…” That phrase has been blessing me, because it’s allowed me to shift my perspective and glorify Him more.
In His kindness, He allowed my heart to break so that my capacity could change and be filled with His love. In His kindness my plans failed and I had to mourn them so that I could embrace the plans He has for me as better. In His kindness, he stayed with me while I stumbled so He could both bring me out and walk me forward. In His Kindness…
Scripture Ref: Psalm 118:1

Day 37 of Worship in Dance for #lent
“Just A Prayer Away” by @yolandaadams was my comfort song growing up. I confessed that Jesus was my Lord and Savior at 10 years old during a Friday night service. I remember listening to the song around that time. Yolanda singing as if God was sing to the listener of the song was new to me and I felt the comfort of His presence whenever I took a moment to worship Him with this song. It’s almost been 30 years and here I am getting choked up in the middle of the song not just thinking about His faithfulness over my life time but feeling his nearness in the moment; moving me to tears as I dance. Thank you Lord!
Scripture Ref: James 4:7-10 & 1 Peter 5:7
Day 36 of Worship in Dance for #lent
“Abide” by Ryan Ofei. I could just listen to the end of this song on a continuous loop. I feel the peace of God every time I play this song.
Scripture: John 15:4-10
Day 35 of Worship in Dance for #lent
“When I Think” by Ricky Dillard. That’s it! Listen to the song for yourself. It tears me up every time. I made it through this one tho probably because it was the end of the day and I was tired lol
Day 34 of Worship in Dance for #lent
We just gotta pray! Naomi is a new artist to me and I love what I’ve been hearing so far. It’s dance music that you would hear at a club or mall but about Jesus! “Pray” could literally be playing in the background of a restaurant, clothing store and I love that I can casually groove while being reminded to trust God.
Scripture Ref: 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Day 33 of Worship In Dance for #lent
This is one of my favorite clips of Yolanda Adams singing “In The Midst Of It All” with Tank. I play this every now and then when I feel like giving up. That part of the recorded song always grabbed my attention. Holy Spirit has been emphasizing that part for a long time.
