For the later parts of my 20’s, I began to confront the terrifying reality that one day I will die and I have yet to explore for myself what that means and where will I go. Where did my friends and family who have passed go? Why does death and mortality scare me? What will my story and impact be once I die and what is purpose? This piece is an acceptance that I am energy, life, and light that will one day be a memory. I will rejoin the universe that I was always a part of. This life is a gift and when I go, I want to know I lived life to my fullest potential. To have no regrets. Only acceptance and understanding.
