A look back at last night’s Raw Figs 5-year anniversary celebration…
The event marked five years of Raw Figs, founded by @vidaishere__ . Huge congrats to Raw Figs for continuing to provide an amazing creative outlet for the Miami community all these years, and to Vida for being such a welcoming host. Shout out also to @tiffanynpro , @dee_cceee , and @yogapantsband for holding things down while she was on paternity leave. Shout out as well to @rudyduboue for helping out over the years.

Sunday, April 19 is all about finding poetry in Magic City’s natural and human wonders. Watch the starry sky turn to sunrise, marvel at live acrobats, and try your hand at figure drawing all while celebrating National Poetry Month with friends old and new!
🌌 Rise before the sun in celebration of International Dark Sky Week for “Dark Sky to Dawn: A Walk into Writing, A New Day” a guided silent walk and poetry workshop led by project manager @lucleao . We’ll walk under the stars and through the woods of the beautiful Deering Estate to a serene waterfront, where Lucia will share prompts to inspire poetic reflections on themes related to Dark Sky Week, and then we’ll get some quiet writing time as the sun rises. 🎪 After an afternoon nap, grab a friend and head to Circus of Words at Circensia Studio for an aerial poetry and figure drawing extravaganza with @rawfigspopup !
