And it is undoubtedly true: your soul drifts in the sky, held only by its umbilical cord attached to the human below. Lost among the Raukar of Gotland, with the light of Sven Nykvist and memories of Bergman and Tarkovsky, we wandered for hours, melodicas in hand. From there on forward: kites and musicmaking on shores, cliffs, mountains, and alongside nature. Taking flight from Sambandh and shaped around and alongside Gärdeners Pilgrimage, this album drifts somewhere between the two, a journey out into nature.. Go build or buy a kite. “Beyond the grave, our conversation continues : me and those whose lines of thought share the same weight and language. In nature, in poetry, in music, I encounter myself in others.” Music has carried me through life; it still shines brightly across my firmament. At times it takes shape as melodies and sometimes as sound sculptures in fleeting alignments an long inner reflections. Sometimes I stumble upon old recordings on a hard drive recorded long ago by another Oscar. With other ears they shine in new light. A complete credit list for this love letter to sound would be impossible. To many recordings of too much life.. But family, friends, internet friends, chance encounters, and nature are there. In the case of this Album, Gnamma, it also came to be with the help of others whose frequencies resonate with mine:
