You may have also seen their work on the indie Game Boy horror game Deadeus. Q. What's the inspiration behind "The Dream Devourer"? A. "I really love the idea of the Dream Devourer in its entirety just being a finger of something much larger, so I tried to get some of that motif in there. I made it seem as if it's pulling the mind apart in a psychic manner and then drinking the dream right out of the skull, all whilst sleeping." Q. How does this differ from your usual work? A. "I approached this digitally at first but wanted to keep half a foot in gritty traditionalism and so it's a little bit more textured than some of my other work. I love to get some of the spatters and dot tones in there as that to me calls back to hand drawn comic books. My usual work skews a little more gory so I approached it from that angle but I think it fits in with some of the other horrors you can find in the game!"
