There is something powerful about seeing thoughtful conversations around home, wellness, and the way we live reflected on a national platform.
Honored to share that Rathell Designs alongside Alena Conley @thereminderremedy were featured in @usatoday discussing the transformation of overlooked spaces within the home into environments that better support everyday family life.
What was once considered a forgotten corner or “dead zone” became an opportunity to rethink the way we live today, designing for work, learning, wellness, creativity, and neurodiversity through spaces that feel both elevated and deeply livable.
To collaborate alongside Alena, my friend and mentor whose voice and platform continue to encourage meaningful dialogue and growth, made this feature even more special.
Grateful for the recognition, the conversation, and the continued evolution of design as a tool for supporting everyday life beautifully.
A vision rooted in connection, creativity, and craft. Hone Sharpen is now open right in the heart of Downtown Raleigh. What started as an idea to reimagine the culinary classroom has now grown into a space that feels like a home intentionally designed to inspire!
I am beyond grateful to be a part of this journey!
Here’s a glimpse inside opening day 🎉

So many beautiful details went into this home, it was almost impossible to choose… but here are a few of my favorites.
•
One of the biggest transformations was opening up a once dark living room and introducing new window transoms that completely changed the tone, texture, and light in the space. The difference still takes my breath away.

What’s your favorite spot at 313? For Brittany at @rathelldesigns , she fell in love with one fabulous part of our atrium — and we couldn’t agree more.
Bringing this one back meant something.
We revived this project while onboarding a new client, two different rhythms at once. This one asked for patience, clarity, and a reset. It’s special because it wasn’t just about design, it was about realigning the vision and finishing with intention.
Sometimes the most meaningful spaces are the ones you come back to and get right.

A weekend of inspiration and a full heart.
Spring @highpointmarket . , followed by an evening with @emmagrede , both grounding me in the beauty of design and intentional growth.
Heading into the week feeling clear, focused, and thankful for the work I get to do and the spaces we’re creating.
There are nights that stay with you, this was one of them.
A room filled with vision, intention, and undeniable talent. Conversations spoken in craft, beauty, and the art of how we live. @highpointmarket always brings the best connections.
Thank you @archdigest , @archdigestpro , and @prb.collection for an unforgettable evening of design and community.
Grateful to be in the room. Always.
There’s something powerful about seeing your name take shape in the real world.
Not just a mark…..
but a standard. A feeling. A way of living.
Where every detail is considered, and nothing is without intention. Exactly as it’s meant to be.
