REPOST.
some months ago I left Brussels to spend a semester studying at
@zhdkmusic in Zürich. Even before reaching the boarders of that very welcoming and affordable country, I decided to write new music for a large ensemble, with some of the people I met there, because what’s better to meet people than a 9 people band ? (a lot of things I know, like going out for instance, but that’s not the point here)
@melinarueeger has sung, and she also wrote lyrics to the music I handed her, because she rocks.
@mehdi_toumi (barely) plays the guitar.
@jules__martinet plays double bass and has a cool tattoo
@bocuma plays the piano and just got a fresh fade from her barber
@schlaug2000 plays tenor sax and is not really sure if Schauffhausen is part of Germany or Switzerland
@nikolabankovmusic plays alto sax, he smells coffee and expensive perfume and love subV while covering pop songs
@fanny.chelle.clarinet plays the bass clarinet she likes fondue and improvised music on mondays
@ivan.trombone plays trombone, he’s very quiet (like me) but he doesn’t have to talk much to assume coolness and I respect that
@keemhyungseo shot the video, he likes Gerald Clayton and smiling with a lot of teeth.
Xaver Dienz mixed and recorded everything at
@zhdkmusic studio.
I am very thankful for
@ahnatek support, knowledge, inspiration and for buying me pizza.
This song is called is Limmat, which is the river I that I used walk by everyday. I hope you will find something that you will enjoy inside that piece of music.
and don’t forget to be nice to each other daily. :)
