Two bottles of wine, followed by the entire menu +5 steak tartare’s (because they’re the best in Bristol) it’s safe to say we left no prisoners in this restaurant and when the kings in town I wouldn’t expect anything less! 🙌

Some see it as a number, I see it as progression. Thinking back to when I started this page at 21 all the way to where I am now seems crazy! The places it’s taken me and the people I’ve met is priceless! I cannot thank you all enough for the love and support over the years - it’s kept me believing in myself and pushing harder for a better life. Plenty of work to be done but the road to a million is ahead so buckle up and enjoy the ride!

I would encourage any artist right now, in fact any person cos all of us are artists, to do as much as they can in real life.
Spotify cannot tell you what your most popular song is, it can only tell you the song that generates it the most money. Instagram cannot look you in the eye and let you know how it feels. And the exhaustion of email chains and zoom calls comes with a hollowness that even the most zapped social battery will not give you.
In my hearts of hearts I couldn’t give a shit about the data. Or the numbers. All I know is I’m gonna die one day in the near future. And so while I’m here the only thing that matters is the relationship we have with each other.
Thank you to everyone who came to listen to ‘Brut Thoughts’ in Bristol and London last week. Beginning to get the feeling that we’ve broken new ground. Which is a beautiful feeling. I don’t want to stand still. I look forward to everyone getting it on Friday. And then it will be yours not mine. MD x
