The @rangoonsisters x The Aubrey.
We’re kicking off Youkoso with a celebration of bold flavours and soulful heritage. On 8 - 9 September, Emily and Amy Chung, the Rangoon Sisters, bring their sell-out Burmese supper club magic to The Aubrey.
Expect spice, warmth and heart as they reimagine home-style Burmese cooking in an izakaya setting. Two nights only, this is one culinary debut not to be missed.

Ecstatic that the Rangoon Sisters Cookbook is the selected book for @jamieoliver ‘s cookbook club this quarter!! Featuring our family recipes from Myanmar, with most ingredients easily accessible from standard supermarkets (even lahpet - pickled tea - is available here online from @muyar_condiments@lostteacompany !). We can’t wait to see what you make from the book! ❤️❤️
It's officially June which means it's time for me to announce our next cookbook in the Jamie Oliver Cookbook Club...
This beauty of a cookbook is The Rangoon Sisters by Drs Amy and Emily Chung @rangoonsisters . A brilliant collection of recipes that shine a light on the incredible flavours of Burmese home cooking.
Packed with proper deliciousness - think warming curries, zingy salads, comforting noodle dishes and so much more, Amy and Emily have such a lovely way of telling stories through food, and I know you will fall in love with their recipes as much as I have!

Japan still catching up with us but very glad to be able to check out our new local… @cafejikoni@vam_east !!! Mere walking distance from both our homes we feel very excited. The exhibition was great and we look forward to returning to explore the museum and have many a meal at the cafe. Huge congrats @cookinboots ❤️ @miss_ebp
It’s been a year since we did a proper supper club and no better way to make our return than by dedicating it to @eseacommunitycentre . This place hosts brilliant community events, supports the elderly and those in need, has the excellent @eseacc_luncheon_club and we love it!! Glad to be able to donate our efforts (£2500) to this place. We were watched over by the new residents in town (as you’ll see in photo 1!), the hanging ducks (can recommend the roasted ones - bought one for Sunday dinner!) and ably assisted by the dream team of @jennie.loh@yanma.hiya@surajkarma@nedparkinson . Not many food photos… too busy cooking and chatting to the guests; some repeat loyal attenders, and first timers from all sorts of backgrounds and coming from as far as Yorkshire and Belgium! More. Soon. Thank you! X
