Coachella was THE event that tested us physically, mentally, financially, and spiritually. 20 hour work days.. logistics, problem solving... going into massive debt to make it happen.. how the fuck are we going to make this many musubi? are people going to like us? we're nobodys in the VIP. i hope we don't suck..
a million thoughts into our heads. anxiety piling up. the date comes closer but are we ready? prob not. but in all honesty, i wasn't scared. i knew we were there to prove ourselves as the underdogs. i know jazmine is reading this and shaking her head LMAOOO
our first time having a big team. our first time creating a system to produce. our first time at a major festival. our first time committing this much money. our first time for everything. we've only been doing this shit for a year.. how the fuck did we get to coachella?!
but day after day, we got better. our team provides input and we adjust. we learn. adapt quick so the production is better. everyday, we had lines. not in a bad way where people wait long af, but lines cuz so many people wanted to try us. it was FUCKING INSANE. how the fuck did we find a way to produce this much food with my lil propane rice cooker that i learned how to use on the first friday of weekend1 & a mexican plancha i used once? wtffffffffffff idk man.....
it was a crazy 2 weekends. jazmine and i are forever thankful.
if you pulled up, thank you for coming. i loved seeing all my friends come support. thank you to all the new people trying our food for the first time. grateful to have the opportunity to be one of the best booths in VIP. the reviews have been great!!
