It’s an honor to be one of the first few people to try Canon’s new RF 7–14mm Circular Fisheye lens and the Canon RF 14mm f/1.4 VCM. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: Bending the Wonderwall. Bending the Wonderwall explores how perception shifts when boundaries are stretched, not broken. The wonderwall represents the invisible limits of how we see things,shaped by habit, expectation, and comfort. The shoot focuses on how each lens interprets space, distortion, intimacy, and movement, pushing beyond technical performance into visual storytelling. Through controlled distortion and clarity, Canon’s new RF fisheye and 14mm f/1.4 lenses create tension between warped perspective and grounded intimacy. Art boundaries and standardized beauty blur as the talent adapts to space rather than resists it, allowing reality to flex and reshape. Rather than treating this as a controlled lab test, the approach is experiential. The lenses are placed in real creative conditions, allowing their character to surface naturally through human expression, motion, and environment. And in this case, I do it, my way.
