SEATTLE FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS! 🪄🥂 Join us for an incredible collaborative food and wine pop-up at @carrelloseattle in Seattle’s Capitol Hill featuring five RAM Cellars wines, thanks to @radiowineco , alongside tacos by @taco.gringos on Monday, May 11th, from 4 - 7 pm! AND - in a move that makes my big, dorky heart so, so happy, we’ve dubbed this gathering “The Cloak & Stagger Tavern” and gone all in on a D&D theme for our event name and menu format! Unlike a traditional wine dinner, this gathering requires no advance reservations! Tacos Gringos will have à la carte format street-style tacos for $3.50 each, with green chorizo, Goat, Lengua (tongue), and Peas and Carrots as taco options, and a delicious watermelon salad with jicama, mint, chili powder, and lime available as well! As for wines, we’ve curated a special lineup of perfect pairs with tacos, including RAM Cellars Grüner Veltliner, Dry Riesling, Orange Fraîche, Cabernet Franc, and Sparkle Pony Red. Each of these wines will be available by the glass and bottle! And while it’s not required to be a big ole dork like me, of course, I’d love to chat with you about your favorite DnD character class, favorite TRRPG, or favorite dinosaur, for that matter. When I am not moonlighting as a wine sorceress, I tend to lean towards bard or paladin class characters, centering social skills and healing as my preferred character archetypes! I love connecting authentically with folks over food and wine, and this collaboration with my friends at Radio City Wine and Tacos Gringos made possible by the wonderful folks at Carrello, is a dream come true for me.✨ I can’t wait to share wine, tacos, laughs, and good times with you on Monday, May 11th, from 4-7 pm at our Cloak & Stagger Tavern pop-up at Carrello Seattle, located at 622 Broadway E on Seattle’s Capitol Hill. Cheers, 🧙‍♀️ Viv

As we turn the corner into May - and Oregon Wine Month - we always take the time to reflect on the handful of our wines that we produce with Oregon-grown wine grapes. While many of our wines over the years have been vinified from Oregon grapes, two of our core wines over the years have always been crafted with Oregon grapes: 🍷Our Pinot Noir - which we have crafted with fruit sourced from three different Willamette Valley sites and one site on the Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge. 🥂 Our Grüner Veltliner - made with grapes from a cooler climate site nested along the Willamette River. Both wines have been beautiful reflections of each varietals’ expression in cooler climate Oregon sites. Over the years, we have crafted versions of our Tempranillo, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris-based wines with Oregon fruit as well. ✨ As for our current offerings of Pinot Noir and Grüner Veltliner: each is a delightful time capsule and love letter to the 2024 vintage! Our 2024 Grüner Veltliner is a light, easy- drinking, moderate ABV “Porch Pounder” white. Softer and lemon-lime citrus forward, it’s one of our favorite spring/summer white wines that we make. And our 2024 Pinot Noir, crafted with 100% Pommard clone, Chehalem Mountains fruit from our friends at Bells Up Estate Vineyard, is a richer, riper take on our classic lighter-bodied Pinot Noir style that has ample structure and savory notes balanced with cherry cola, blueberry, and raspberry fruit notes in the glass! It doesn’t just stop at where we harvest our grapes! RAM Cellars has always been a Portland urban winery, crafting wine in different corners of Portland. No matter where the grapes are grown, all of RAM Cellars’ wines are part of the Oregon wine story. – Cheers to Oregon wine!, Viv

Viv had worn many hats behind many bars, but this one is particularly special! ✨ This week, Viv is camping out in Seattle at @lucysbottleshop from Wednesday, April 22rd and Thursday, April 23th, 3 - 9 pm as a Guest Winetender. Lucy’s Bottle Shop in Seattle’s Lower Magnolia Neighborhood is one of Viv’s favorite places in Seattle, so naturally, she jumped at the chance to support the community! She will be pouring a lineup of RAM Cellar wines alongside a couple of Lucy’s featured wines. 🥂 This is your chance to chat over a glass with the maven of mirth herself! It’s going to be a really fun couple of days over at this local Seattle spot, and we hope to see you there!

Daydreams of wading in the velvet sea…Sounds like Malbec to us! 💭🍷 Hi friends! Viv here to jump in to celebrate #MalbecDay and shine the spotlight on the 2023 Malbec. ✨ Why I Love Malbec: It’s the quintessential red wine in my opinion. I’ve always had an affinity for the ‘undersung’ Bordeaux red varietals (read: everything but Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot), and Malbec has been a core part of what we do at RAM Cellars since our maiden voyage during the 2014 vintage. Malbec brings a richness, a depth, and a complexity to the function that I admire and aspire to bring myself, and I love every expression of it. I make ours with 100% whole cluster ferments, sourcing grapes from Washington’s Rattlesnake Hills AVA, in an effort to showcase the richer side of Malbec! ✨ What Everyone Loves About The Malbec: This wine pairs with casual get-togethers of hamburgers, stuffed peppers, creamy mushroom sauce pasta, and blue cheese. If you love well-worn leather, lilacs, ripe raspberries, plums, and black cherries, this wine is for you!! We will have both the 2023 AND 2022 Malbecs open at and available for sale at our April Mirrorball Northwest Tasting Room Residency on Saturday, April 18, 2 - 7 pm & Sunday, April 19, 12 - 5 pm. 📍Mirrorball NW | 5529 S Hood Ave, Portland, OR 97239 See you this weekend! Cheers, friends, VIV

We are toasting to four years of RAM Cellars Merlot THIS Weekend! ✨ Viv here to toast to one of our favorite red wines. Our Merlot releases have been inspired by a desire to showcase the virtues of one of, in our opinion, the most undersung medium-bodied reds, along with our love of Nouveau-style reds, as they are always a triumphant toast to another harvest season ending with the first taste of the fruits of the RAM Cellars Team’s labors. Made four years in a row since 2022, these wines depart from the usual flavor profile with a deliciously fresh and fruity take that’s distinctly RAM Cellars. Crafted from grapes produced by our growing partners at Bosma Estate Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA in Columbia Valley, WA, it’s a wine that stands on its own or pairs beautifully with a wide range of flavors. For our Tasting Room Residency this weekend, we are spotlighting three stellar Merlots from past and current vintages. Let’s give these bottles their flowers: 🍷 2023 Forbidden Cats label Merlot | Library Wine – positively velvety, and moving into its own phase of richer decadence while still displaying the classic, fruit-forward nature of Merlot after 2+ years of bottle aging. 🍷 2024 Forbidden Cats label Merlot | Library Wine – our 2024 vintage of this wine has some more robust savory elements that balance nicely with the cherry and blackberry fruit-forward nature of this vintage, and a year of bottle aging has rounded out the tannins in a lovely way. 🍷 2025 Forbidden Cats Merlot | Current Release – Our annual Nouveau-day release wine in November of 2025, our newest vintage of Merlot is a testament to the ageable style of Nouveau-day release Merlot that we have been showcasing since 2022. It’s fresh and fruit-forward and is our latest installment in our series of odes to the beauty of Merlot! If you want to try all these of these Merlot (hearing Viv talk in detail about what else makes these wines so special as an optional side quest), join us this Sat 3/21 from 2 - 7 pm & Sun 3/22 from 12 - 5 pm for our monthly popup tasting room residency at Mirrorball Northwest, 5529 S Hood Ave, Portland, OR. Cheers to Merlot, & those who love them! - Viv

Seattle friends! 🏙️ Viv here to remind you about the SECOND direct delivery window while visiting Seattle this upcoming week. Order by Sunday, March 22, with your favorite RAM Cellars wines, and I’ll be over to you with the bottles next week! 🥂 VIV Recommendations: To embrace springtime in the city, I recommend our NEW release 2024 vintage of Orange Fraîche, our BRAND NEW 2025 Forbidden Cats label Rosé of Grenache, and our 2023 Cabernet Franc and 2023 Tempranillo as far as some great red wine options go! Our new vintage of Orange Fraîche is bright, crisp, and refreshing, with ample orange-centric citrus balanced atop well-integrated tannins from 25 days on the skins during fermentation! And speaking of new releases: we’ve released a small allotment of our 2025 Forbidden Cats label Rosé of Grenache direct through our website before the public on-sale date next month and it’s a LOVELY salmon pink hue and Fuji apple, honeydew, jasmine, petrichor, and echoes of fresh pears greet the noise while cantaloupe, Bartlett pear, violets, slate stone, and lychee await in-glass. But really, we have plenty of wines available via our website, and I love them all for different reasons, and I’d love to deliver our delightful wines to you on my upcoming Seattle visit! If you’d like to take advantage of this window for free delivery in the Seattle area, select ‘Seattle area free delivery’ at checkout in our webstore. And, if you have any questions or run into issues when ordering, drop me an email at [email protected]! In addition to these wines, I’ll be at multiple events throughout Seattle! Keep an eye out for the full list of events–Hope to see you soon!

Hey Friends! Viv here, taking a moment from our regular schedule to talk about something very important to me. This March marks 10 YEARS since RAM Cellars wines have been sold out in the world! I remember hitting the road with bottles in hand and a tough first year of wrangling tasting appointments to find folks who were willing to take a chance on a new, unknown urban micro-winery. And now, all these years later, West Coast wine shops, restaurants, wine bars, pop-ups, and grocery stores enable us to keep making the wines we love. Even more than that, many of these locations have become lifelong friends. So when you see a bottle of RAM Cellars on the shelf, or on your bottle list, know it’s been a decade of slinging wine that’s gotten us to where we are now. Cheers to the next 10 years! - VIV 🥂 #prideinwine #queersmakingwine #naturalwine #shoplocal #ramcellars
