GUSHY is going ON TOUR and spiritual journeying in a beautiful chariot/camper van. We begin the weekend of May 28 in Miami, Florida and end in California in mid-June. We’ll be traveling through the Southern United States en route to our record release party in Los Angeles. You are all cordially invited. NEXT SUNDAY 11/23, the monthly “ambient” show known as Sunday Night Swim kisses goodbye to this year with a special performance and lots of heart filled vibes Rebecca Borrer, Matthew O’Neill and I are going to try something new and set up a passive sound bed while we take turns playing our instrument in the spotlight and the other two modulate the sonic bed. I think we will have a piano, hand-harp and some synths in there.. who knows maybe a special guest? I would love to see all of you there at @theavalonlounge to commemorate this strange year together, to have some space and just hang. hello!! here is my first ever single to be released on august 4th 2023 to iheartradio spotify apple music etc. for now it exists on @bandcamp , its called Light the Candle. this song was engineered + mixed + mastered by @matthewrcullen a kind talented genius. he also added synth parts. it will be released on “incandescent presents” @incandescentpresents a new hudson ny based label by yours truly (follow it up for more!!). there is a whole album to come and it is called “Presence is a Present” your time and attention is a gift. the world is constantly vying for it. if you listen i hope the track brings u peace, solace, and unearths something within. i am giddy to hear what you think and also excited to release for my own being. to open all the windows in the attic and make room for new expressions and experiences. i hope you find that presence is a present. time creates space until we meet again 🫧 🕯️ 🌪️ may ur light always be ripping n raging hard n fast n slow n soft n true all photos by @tommmmmmyboy my bff and also bandmate in @gushy.inc stay tuned for more on that too!!
