for those of you new here, here's a little mother's day lore about why @radlostudio exists: my mom is the inspiration for radlo. without her, it wouldn't exist. she was the first person to ever call me an artist, despite me not going to school for art. she told me that anyone can make art. but the difference between someone who makes art and an artist is that an artist has to create or they just shrivel up and become shells of themselves. "RAD" spells out the initials of mine and my siblings birth names. growing up she told us that we should become a band. well, none of us really have much musical talent, but I wanted to honor her wish that RAD become something that carries her deep love and desire to share our creativity and voice with the world. and so, radlo was born as a love letter to my mom, ozzie. happy mother's day to the woman who taught me that the best thing I can be in this world is myself. I love you, mom ❤️

had a great time at @gladdaybookshop queer market! I was nervous because it was a dreary day, but everyone showed up!! met so many incredible humans and fellow artists. special shout-out to my vendor neighbor @thecutieartist for keeping my blood sugar up with little treats and @basidi.os for keeping my spirits up (and also doing some crisis management by going to the thrift store to get a tablecloth when I discovered I forgot mine 🥺)
