Here is 100% of my conversations with Sofia, minus her address and email, because we don't doxx people like her friends do.
Things to note:
the multiple times I purchased food for her, including the order numbers so she can pick the food up ("I'll just add it to my rent!" Yeah, that never happened.)
the things she complained about me shopping for while she was at the studio were all things purchased specifically for her that she happily took off my hands (minus the keyboard that she changed her mind about after I had paid for and picked it up)
the rent and payments she has complained so much about but I very clearly forgave (until the very end when she gave us 1 day's notice of leaving and not paying rent)
the lateness and sloppiness on her part even when she made it seem like she'd help us
me helping her get a job and being her reference which, according to the conversation, landed her the job, which she then requested I help her get out of
and the complete lack of "abuse" or coercion or force or any other ridiculous lies she has come up with. Absurd lies. Keep an eye out for other's experiences, coming soon :)
Also, to the 2 others that left without notice before Sofia pulled this, especially C., who definitely lied about their experience level, did not take aaaaany of our tips and advice seriously, kept saying things like "but that's not how I was taught" when their sanitary procedures were corrected, and was overall one of the most stubborn people we've ever met, and we were warned about that specifically by the studio they previously left, didn't pay any rent for the months they were here, and generally took advantage of us to every extent they could until just vanishing without paying; I hope you're proud to have found your people!
I've never posted a photo/video of myself like this but I know something has to be said, because this hurts more than just me. Whether or not you agree with it, this is the truth of my interactions.
To the others that have felt harmed by me in relation to this: I spent a year giving you chances upon chances to speak with me, but you continually avoided conversations and instead relied on rumours and gossip. You yelled and screamed at me instead, you spread lies about me and the studio, and you literally took things from us, with seemingly no remorse or guilt.
All I do with my time is come to the studio, make plushies, drive, and spend the night with googas. I have not interacted with anyone outside of the studio space for a very long time, save for my birthday, so whatever you hear about my actions outside of the 8 people that call this their studio... there's nothing to base those claims on. I simply have not had the time nor health to be addressing any of this, and for those that I call my friends, it has not been worth any of our effort since we already share our truth through communication. This is different, though, because this affects all those that were taken advantage of by her, and it affects the sheer amount of progress and work we've put into this awesome collective.
