Oh we saw a brilliant immersive play tonight in a private home. La Familia Guerrero sang for us, they got into a family fight, they gossiped with us. And they fed us. Then they made up and we sang some more. We were in a novella and we loved it. Honestly, we were just in somebody’s else family drama. Ancestral roots and family history is important. Today was the first time in about 40 years that I listened to Linda Ronstadt’s Canciones de mi Padre Great memories. Radical Evolution, Latinx Playwrights Circle, The Sol Project, and Boundless Theatre Company producers of Canciones in Flatbush, Brooklyn, May 2-24.
