BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!! Coming Sat, May 2nd in Amherst, Massachusetts!! @thequeercorecollaborative is partnering with student-led DIY groups @umass.salt @mhcalt @queeractioncollective @bipocalternatives and @marsh_amherst to present a night of loud music and radical community care and catharsis at @thedrakeamherst !! We are absolutely blown away to have this instantly legendary lineup of bands joining us that includes @hirs666 @commitment.phl @abbatia_ @film_and_gender and @deathless__forever !! 🎫 ADVANCE TICKETS AND DETAILS ARE LIVE at the link in our bio!! $5-$10 "Community Empowered" tickets available. Details at ticket site. In a world where queer, trans, gender-nonconforming, black, brown, femme and so many other marginalized bodies are being messaged with fear and violence, this is a space to rally round each other and nourish each other’s nervous systems, bodies and hearts. This event exists because we believe that every time we share in that kind of space, we are building a different world. Together. Thank you for believing that with us. Thank you for coming to be a part of that act of resistance with us. In resistance to the systemic violence and oppression experienced around the globe and in our communities, 25% of the proceeds of this event will be donated to @transasylumsupport , a radical, anarchist, mutual aid collective providing direct aid to queer and trans asylum seekers. The remaining proceeds will support QueerCore Fest 2026, coming in September!! 📷 @larvalungs @robbklassen @gutter_shot @ladycassianna #queercore #queerpunk #bipocpunk #hirscollective #resistreclaimrehumanize

Repost from yesterday: Their greatest weapon is to make us forget. Make us forget our power. Make us doubt our clarity. Wear down our nervous systems. With fear. Fear that isolates us. That separates us from each other. That separates us from our knowing. That separates us from our collective remembering. That separates us from the world. Our greatest power is to create reminders with each other. Reminders that come from choosing each other. Choosing to share a moment with each other. To give our attention to each other. To collectively feel our nervous systems land with each other. To be WITH each other. Which is to validate each other's existence. To feel in that moment shared the visceral reminder to our nervous systems that we do in fact belong. HERE. NOW. WITH. We belong to every moment in every place. We always have. That moment and that place could be anytime and anywhere. And, we NEED each other to help us remember that that moment belongs to anyone who participates in it. Which is to say that that moment belongs to all. That is the birthright of being a part of this grand universe. That is what transness is here to remind us of. That the grand expanse of aliveness is infinitely more vast than the tidy boxes and constructs that others have crafted to control and make safe their limited ideas of existence. That the ache of our hearts to live beyond the edge of our own definition is a mirror of the unstoppable becoming that brings all things to life. Fear dismembers. Fear separates us from our knowing. From our belonging. From our existence. In othering us from each other it others us from ourselves. So let us be the reason for each other's re-membering. By coming together. By collectively feeling our hearts and nervous systems remember belonging. With each other. In all places. At all times. Anywhere we gather and choose to see the vibrant humanity of each other can be just that reminder. HAPPY TRANS VISIBILITY DAY. WE SEE AND CELEBRATE YOU EVERY DAY. Love, The QueerCore Collaborative #internationaltransdayofvisibility #transdayofvisibility

Friends… Just WOW… Thank you, thank you thank you. Thank you for being a part of co-creating such a visceral and special night with us. Thank you for the magic of showing up to fill a room with such sincere, wide open human expression, energy and heart. Thank you to all the bands for inviting that energy into the space with your raw, unfettered bravura. Thank you to everyone who came out to contribute your brilliantly you magic to that space. Thank you to all the student organizers for believing in these kinds of spaces with us, and for all you do to breathe them into being. Thank you to @thedrakeamherst for hosting us. Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers for loving up on everyone so well! Thank you to our fiscal sponsor @bombyx.live for being such an ally to all that we do! Thank you to Amherst Cultural Council for their generous support and for believing in community health and nourishment through music and the arts! We raised $1000 in proceeds after paying all our bands and the venue. $300 of these proceeds are being donated to Trans Asylum Seekers Network and the remaining $700 of will go directly to supporting QueerCore Fest 2026 on September 18th and 19th (this is the first unofficial date announcement, so mark your calendars!!). Thank you for being a part of a living reminder for everyone in that room. A reason to remember that all of this - all of the struggle, heartbreak, longing, wondering what any of this is for - that IT IS ALL WORTH IT. To experience moments like THIS. Moments that confirm our belonging to something that matters. Because we make it matter to each other. By choosing to live those moments WITH each other. And, THAT is our greatest act of resistance. THAT is how we tend to each others hearts in the ways we so need in this world. So very grateful to get to live this with you! ❤️ @queercorecollaborative #queercore #queercorecollaborative #resistreclaimrehumanize #queercommunity #queerpunk
