Film Series: Commitment at Subterranean Downstairs, 3/29/2026 @commitment.phl came allllll the way in from Philly through trials and tribulations to @subtchicago to play to a packed house downstairs ↘️ I wasn't able to catch Commitment when they came to town at the end of last year on their tour with the 🐐 Stress Positions, so I wasn't gonna miss this one! These four played with such fire and had strong presence. WELL, SHIT. As you may have heard, beloved local hero @blessed_are_the_thicc from @commitment.phl brutally injured his hand this past week, and as such they will now no longer be playing the May 1st show at @philamoca . The rest of the show will still go on as planned, and will still function as their honorary hometown record release show! Fewer than 20 tickets remain, it's going to sell out SOON! So come hang out, pick up a copy of their incredible new LP, and donate to Jake's recovery fund!

One day after we got home from a full US tour, Jake suffered a hand injury that will prevent him from working or playing guitar for the next 3 months. I made a GFM to help support him during this time. What he’s dealing with is crappy enough on its own, it would be sick if we can make sure he’s not worrying about rent, bills and food on top of that. He’s already undergone one surgery and we are waiting to find out if he will be able to get the second one (shoutout US healthcare for effing us all). This is a sad and scary situation. Thoughts and prayers are cute, but let’s put our money where our mouths are and make sure Jake can rest and heal. Thank you.
