Even within queer art, the cisgender body still too often remains the central focus. And more specifically, the cis male body.
We want to actively make space for other bodies, other experiences, other ways of existing and being seen.
That is why we are currently looking for queer artists who work with trans and non binary people, and who place the beauty, complexity and humanity of those bodies and experiences at the center of their work.
Do you know artists whose work does this thoughtfully and powerfully? Tag them in the comments. We will look at every profile.
