10+ years into my journey as a photographer and creator have taught me one thing: growth isn’t always a straight line.✨
Some years feel unstoppable — bookings roll in, projects flow, and everything clicks. Other years, it’s quieter, and I’ve had to pause, reinvest, or simply accept that things didn’t go as planned.
It stings, but it’s part of the process.
The seasons of life and business keep shifting. The real lesson? Learning how to celebrate wins even when the numbers — revenue, followers, or shiny milestones — don’t look as big.
Maybe the point is to keep showing up, to trust that one small step forward today can carry us into a brighter tomorrow.🙏
I love the hustle 🔥, but I’ve also learned to slow down: to honor my health, to be present as a dad (kids don’t stop teaching us things), and to carve out space for family and creativity.
Does that make me less of a “business-minded” creative? I don’t think so. If anything, it makes me more real, more grounded, and more connected to what it actually takes to build a sustainable career in this industry.
And while I’ve been slowing down, I’ve also been quietly lining things up: a couple of Food Photography workshops are on the way, and I’ll be part of a beautiful exhibition very soon.
