You can take the family out of Brooklyn, but you can’t take the Brooklyn out of the family. 😉
We transformed this traditional 1970’s home into a sleek, contemporary escape…. and left a little taste of New York in every room.

After years on Kiawah Island, a couple from the Northeast made the move permanent. Their kids had settled in Charleston, so the house they built was shaped by one question: how does a family gather here? Link in bio to connect with PWD Studio on TALD.

When you think of a serene primary bathroom, this is exactly what you’ll see! I absolutely love the stunning water flower scene on this grasscloth wallpaper. It brings such character with the delicate water lilies and charming little birds. The subtle blue and green tones work wonders in creating a calming atmosphere, transforming the space into a peaceful retreat. I can already imagine unwinding here after a long day! What do you think of this beautiful new look? It’s amazing how the right wallpaper can change the entire vibe of a room.

At first glance, it reads as classic toile. Look closer and you'll find the Brooklyn Bridge, the Coney Island Cyclone, hot dog carts, and Notorious B.I.G. 🗽
The powder room of our project, Brooklyn Backyard, is a love letter to this family's original roots. The best interiors always hold a little surprise.
