PUSHTOENTER participated as a collaborative planning and operations partner in <Art Bridge: Dialogue with Africa>, a Forum hosted by the Arts Council Korea (ARKO). The forum aimed to cultivate long-term dialogue and solidarity through art, bringing together curators, artists, platforms, and journalists to share their visions, experiences, and creative strategies while exploring new possibilities for collaboration. Through a roundtable-format session, the forum highlighted the diverse artistic ecosystems and local contexts of Korea and Africa, offering meaningful insights into the potential for artistic solidarity between the two regions. 한국문화예술위원회(ARKO)가 주최한 아프리카 포럼 〈아트 브릿지: 아프리카와의 대화〉에 푸시투엔터가 협력 기획 및 운영으로 함께했습니다. 본 포럼은 예술을 매개로 한 장기적인 대화와 연대를 지향하며, 큐레이터, 예술가, 플랫폼, 언론인 등 다양한 주체들이 각자의 비전과 경험을 공유하고 협력의 새로운 가능성을 모색하는 자리였습니다. 라운드테이블 형식으로 진행된 이번 토크는 한국과 아프리카의 예술 생태계와 지역적 맥락을 함께 조명하며 양 지역 간 예술적 연대의 가능성을 확인하는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

PUSHTOENTER joined the forum hosted by the Saudi Arabia Visual Arts Commission, in collaboration with the Arts Council Korea (ARKO), as a collaborative organizer. It was a meaningful opportunity to take part in the first occasion where Saudi arts were introduced in Korea. Sarkissian‘s photographic works are characterized by the themes of ”exploration“ and the dichotomy of visibility/invisibility, which connect to his process of seeking answers to personal memories and backgrounds. Through this exploration, he delves into stories that are either overlooked or cannot be addressed within history, often capturing desolate landscapes and locations where human presence is felt but not seen. The contrast between visibility and invisibility lies at the core of his work, guiding the audience to uncover deeper meanings hidden beneath the surface and encouraging a reevaluation of broader historical or social narratives. ​ His major solo exhibitions include Wolverhampton Art Gallery (2025), Fotografisk Center, Copenhagen (2024), Bonnefanten Museum, Maastricht (2022), Sharjah Art Foundation (2021). 정림건축문화재단 <등장하는 건축가들>에 소개되었던 ‘도시시도’ 작가들의 글이 <건축신문> 40호에 공개되었습니다🙌 글의 전문은 건축신문 홈페이지를 통해 확인해주세요☺️ - The articles by the architects featured in the exhibition ‘City Attempts’, who were presented in the forum <Emerging Architects> by the Junglim Foundation, have been published in Issue 40 of Architecture Newspaper! 🙌 #️⃣About the Book @junglim.foundation The forum <Emerging Architects> served as a platform for rising architects, bringing together eight practitioners exploring architecture in diverse ways at the 2024 event. The discussions centered on key architectural themes shaping their work, the evolution of their ideas, and how they have sustained their practices. Participants reflected on fundamental questions such as “What kind of architect am I?” and “What does architecture mean to me, to us, and in this era?”, organizing and articulating their thoughts in response. To document this moment, Architecture Newspaper adopted a tailored approach for each of the eight participants. Myongjoon Kim, Saul Kim, Yeon Joo Oh, and Haewook Jeong transcribed the forum discussions into text, while Jaewoo Chon preserved the session in video format. Yoonseok Lee, Hee Joon Lee, and Sungbum Heo refined their ideas into written essays shaped by the forum’s dialogues. Through this publication, we hope to provide insights into the architectural practices, expressions, and mediums that define the younger generation’s work. It is an opportunity to reconsider how we perceive the architectural field and its evolving boundaries. <Emerging Architects> is a forum series highlighting new players in the architecture field. Under the overarching theme of “What Kind of Architect Are You,” this series seeks to spotlight architects who have remained under the radar. It delves into various topics, including their field experiences and perspectives, motivations for founding their practices, signature projects, aspirations, areas of expertise, and the organizational structures they envision.

이윤석, 이희준, 허성범 작가님과 함께한 <도시시도>전시 연계 워크샵 스케치📸 추운 날씨에도 함께 참여해주신 모든 분들 감사합니다❤️‍🔥 <도시시도> 전시는 다음 주 목요일(12일) 종료합니다! 끝까지 많은 관심 부탁드립니다🙏 - 📸Sketches of the Workshop with Architects Yoonseok Lee, Hee Joon Lee, and Sungbum Heo. - <City Attempts> showcases the works of eight young architects who develop and express their own methodologies through the processes of investigating, collecting, and studying cities, spaces, and architecture in relation to society. The workshop, held in connection with the exhibition, aims to explore “observation and discovery of cities, architecture, and society” in collaboration with the participating architects. Expanding beyond the exhibition venue, the workshop includes the Royal & Co factory site where the exhibition is located. Participants delve into the social, cultural, industrial, environmental, and economic meanings of urban contexts, derived from fragmented elements observed in these specific sites. Throughout the process, the architects lead as mentors for each group, guiding participants by sharing their investigative, collecting, and research methodologies. Participants gain hands-on experience with each architect’s unique approach and apply these methods in their own ways. The workshop focuses on the research process of developing ideas and expanding perspectives on urban spaces. It seeks to encourage creative exploration and inspire new ways of thinking about cities and architecture.
