We’re so proud to share a powerful @tedxibiza talk from Purpose’s @isobruce that explores how we navigate an increasingly polarised world shaped by algorithms - and what it really takes to disagree better. In a time when it’s easier than ever to disconnect, Isobel challenges us to choose something braver: curiosity over certainty, and connection over division. This isn’t just about technology and social media. It’s a conversation about humanity, responsibility, and the small choices that shape how we relate to each other each day. Watch Isobel’s talk at the link in bio and share your thoughts in the comments! #TEDx #Leadership #Purpose #Connection #SocialImpact @ibizatravel

Climate Weeks have become important spaces for the climate community to gather, exchange ideas, and shape the direction of climate action across regions and sectors. As we look ahead to London Climate Action Week, we’ve been reflecting on what makes these convenings meaningful - not just the announcements and ambitions they generate, but the communities they help build. Mumbai Climate Week offered an important reminder of what becomes possible when all actors and communities are given space to connect on their own terms. From conversations on urban waste and circular systems to gatherings focused on food systems and participatory action, the week highlighted the importance of creating a more grounded and inclusive climate movement. As momentum builds ahead of LCAW, we’re carrying these reflections with us and thinking about how such convenings can create more space for collaboration, participation, and community-led action. In our latest blog, What Mumbai Taught Us About Building a Climate Community That Lasts, we reflect on what Mumbai Climate Week revealed about the kind of climate movement we need moving forward, and the work required to build it together. 🔗 Read our latest blog at the link in bio

Kenya has committed to growing 15 billion trees by 2032, one of the continent’s boldest climate and restoration goals. But restoring landscapes isn’t just about planting trees. It’s about people feeling connected to the mission and taking ownership of it. That’s why we launched #Jazamiti campaign, a citizen-led restoration movement shifting the conversation from ceremonial tree planting to long-term, community-driven stewardship. 🤝🏿 Through our partnership with @cerealgrowerske , we delivered the first round of the #Treeathlons working directly with farmers and local communities in Kitui, Nakuru, and Vihiga, the people whose knowledge and commitment will shape the future of Kenya’s ecosystems. Highlights from Round 1: 🌍 200+ participants engaged across 3 counties 🌱 150+ trees planted and logged on the Jazamiti platform at each site 📋 Training and technical guidance provided by KEFRI to support long-term tree survival and accountability ⏭️ Now on to Round 2, where we’ll expand to Nairobi, Kiambu, and Kajiado, and Narok and Mandera to follow. The movement is growing. The momentum is building. And communities are leading the way. #Jazamiti #Treeathlon #Reforestation ClimateAction

Breathing together 🌬️ In South London, LIVE & BREATHE turns lived experience into collective action for clean air. Co-created with communities most affected by pollution and inspired by the legacy of Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah, it shows what happens when those closest to the issue lead the response. Working together with Purpose, Impact on Urban Health, musician Love Ssega, and Julie’s Bicycle, this local campaign is becoming a movement. 🌍✨ On World Earth Day, we’re announcing the speakers for our event on the 29th of April at the intersection of climate, health, and the arts, and we’re thrilled to spotlight a very special speaker: Mark Ruffalo. Best known for his work on screen, Mark is also a powerful climate advocate and co-founder of The Solutions Project, championing clean energy and community-led climate action. 🎬⚡ “Storytelling is often about the power to proclaim values, define visions, and shape the dominant narrative. When community members tell their own stories, they are accurately portrayed not as victims but as the victors and visionaries they are. And their stories allow everyone to reimagine what an equitable and sustainable future looks like; they help us channel our fear and rage toward taking positive action.” Mark Ruffalo, The TIME CO2 Earth Awards 2023. Join the Jameel Arts & Health Lab on 29 April for an inspiring online event, where global leaders, artists, and policymakers will explore how culture and creativity can help tackle the health impacts of the climate crisis. 🔗 Register: Link in bio 🗓 29 April 2026 💻 Online 08:30-10:00 EDT / 13:30-15:00 BST / 14:30-16:00 CEST / 19:00-20:30 IST 🎨 Hear from an incredible lineup of speakers across the worlds of art, public health, and policy 🌱 Discover how arts, culture, and storytelling can drive real-world climate-health solutions 💡 Be part of a conversation shaping the future Spots are limited—don’t miss your chance to be part of the movement. #WorldEarthDay #ClimateAction #HealthAndWellbeing #ArtsForChange #MarkRuffalo

We cannot change the law without changing the stories we tell about law. In our newest blog, Mandira Kalaan reflects on the state of gender equality and justice, and how the conversations she had at CSW70 are shaping her thinking. Legal reform alone won’t be enough. Real change depends on implementation, political will, and a narrative shift in how we understand power, care, and justice. 🔗 Read our latest blog at the link in bio.

Across the food value chain—from land and waterways to crops, insects, birds and animals, from farmers and agricultural labourers to food delivery workers—impacts of the climate crisis are brutal. There is no other way to see or say this. These impacts have revealed how urgently we need grounded, producer-first storytelling that can travel across audiences and influence public understanding. Five months ago, we began working on the Feeding the Future Project in partnership with Hands of Transition (@purpose ), a global initiative that connects communities leading the transformation of food system. This project has been an attempt to illuminate how food producers across India are adapting to a changing climate—through locally rooted knowledge, ecological practices, and collective strength. Discover and read these stories on @TheLocavore.in website—link in bio.
