INDIGENOUS SUDAN IS SUFFERING FOR WAY MORE FAR THAN years @bbc ⚠️ ** This episode contains some very distressing details, including of killings, sexual violence and the experiences of children in war**
More than 150,000 people have been killed and about 12 million have been forced from their homes since Sudan’s civil war began in 2023.
But more than two years on, the reasons for the conflict are still not clear. And there are questions about why the international community - including the United States - isn’t doing more to try and stop the supply of weapons to Sudan, and to bring the fighting to an end.

When girls receive a quality education, they are more likely to lead healthier, more productive lives, make informed decisions, and participate fully in their communities and economies
our STAND UP GIRL program works to remove the obstacles preventing girls from leading healthy, empowered lives and attending school. We work closely with girls by providing them with adequate education, basic health practice, sanitary products, mentoring, and life skills training.
Additionally, we respond to the needs of women and girls living in poverty by providing opportunities to be self sufficient, providing a voice and shedding light upon their struggles. Together, these efforts will increase attendance in school and empower women and girls, that all citizens in a community are able to contribute to and benefit from the opportunities of an improved life.
