I always told myself that when Misty retired someday, I had to be there for her final bow. Still pinching myself that somehow, it happened. It was an honor to witness her farewell performance 30 years after seeing her dance in the drill team on the Dana Middle School auditorium stage, her super talent obvious even then. Brava to the Pedro girl who changed ballet, and to the teacher who saw her potential and shaped her trajectory. Looking forward to seeing Misty continue her legacy off stage.
