How it started ➡️ How it’s going. @cucb is a tradition here in D.C., and for us, April isn’t complete without those ten miles through the city (even when peak bloom was days - or weeks - earlier). Even when the pandemic turned in-person races into virtual events, we (safely) navigated the streets ourselves, taking in the springtime scenery and waiting for a return to normalcy. Reaching the milestone of 100 miles this morning marked the culmination of countless hours of training, volunteering, and showing up to take part in something really special, and I cant wait to get started on the next 100 miles.
Most years, Carol’s birthday coincides with a trip to Disney or a Penn State bowl game, but this year took it to the next level. I’m so grateful that so many of our closest friends and family took the time and effort to join us and celebrate her last week, helping to make an already special milestone even more magical. We are blessed to be surrounded by such incredible people.
2025, its been a real one. You didn’t make it easy, but you made it worth it. And to everyone we got to share a part of it with: thanks, friends. Here’s to the future.
Eighth consecutive @richmondmarathon weekend is in the books. Once again, the River City lived up to its reputation as one of America’s great running destinations, thanks to another fantastic @sportsbackers event. #RunRichmond
Spent some quality time out in the Midwest, football score notwithstanding. Iowa City, you exceeded our expectations. Side trips to Davenport, Riverside, and the largest truck stop in the country, followed by a bonus day in Chicago, rounded out the weekend.
@psuhomecoming weekend will always hold a special place in my heart, regardless of what ends up on the scoreboard. It’s where my @pennstatealums service started as a @pennstate student leader over two decades ago. It’s where countless lifelong friendships were born and memories were made. And it’s a reminder that @psu_abba members get to do something unique: we’re among a scant few who get the opportunity each year to step out onto the field and literally retrace our footsteps and relive our experiences in the @psublueband .
Gotcha Day Year 17
Our stubborn boy keeps beating the odds and fighting all his health issues to give us another year of snuggles.
You are our favorite fluffy baby, sweet Gershwin. Happy Gotcha Day 💕
Couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate this past weekend. Very grateful for our @pennstatealums family — and for @carolpobz who helped make Saturday extra special. (Plus, the Nittany Lions won, so that was nice, too.)
Good morning to everyone except the Marine who cheered “Go Blue” as she handed me my medal.
Another 12K in the books. Our annual end-of-summer tradition of waking up way too early to run through the woods of MCB Quantico continues.
