Behind the Build: DEEP Vanguard Launch When DEEP engaged PSID GROUP to produce the unveiling of the Vanguard, the first new crewed subsea habitat in nearly forty years, our objective was clear: create a controlled environment that reflected the precision of their engineering. The project started with an empty hangar and no existing systems. Within three days, our team designed and built a complete technical infrastructure from the ground up. Trussing, power, lighting, video, and audio were integrated under one coordinated plan, verified to engineering standards. Lighting defined the form of the vessel. Video and LED systems carried the mission story. Audio delivered consistency and depth throughout the hangar. Our role extended beyond installation. We acted as DEEP’s technical partner, anticipating constraints, sequencing disciplines, and managing risk across every system. The result was an environment that performed with the same reliability as the technology it introduced. Executed on schedule. Multi-zone productions are where most technical teams struggle. Too many moving parts, too many potential failure points. At Faena Forum, for the @rsvpclubofficial Miami Awards Gala, we managed video, audio, lighting, special effects, staging, and power across four distinct spaces. Entry area, cocktail amphitheater, main room, after party space. The key is having one technical lead who understands how all the systems interact. When lighting affects video processing, when audio placement impacts staging, when power distribution determines equipment placement. More than 200 LED panels coordinated across zones. Mirror, mirror on the table 🪞 @rsvpclubofficial Miami Gala at the @faena Forum was a night of wonder—complete with dazzling performances, smoke, and mirrors. ✨ To echo the theme, we designed menus made entirely of mirror, personalized with each guest’s name. When guests sat down, they didn’t just see the menu—they saw themselves reflected back. And to read the evening’s courses, they had to fold the menu and view the text in the mirror to reveal the hidden message. It was more than a menu—it was an invitation to pause and reflect. In a world full of smoke and mirrors, the real challenge is looking inward. Just like in business, growth begins with honest critique, asking tough questions, and daring to see yourself clearly.
