Yesterday was a rough day emotionally but today is a new day! I love you Lord. Thank you for keeping me and giving me another year! Thank you Believe LA ❤️ thank you family and friends and thank you haters too. 😂
So I use to design clothes and before moving to Denver I was working on a leisure/activewear line. This denim pullover is one of the samples. I decided to wear it out today to my workout class. Walked in the coffee shop and the cashier was like “what a nice piece, where did you get that” 👀 I told her that I made it and wanted to be a designer. As I sit here I realized I never gave these samples a chance. I just moved on without the world seeing them or having any feedback besides my own thoughts saying it wasn’t good enough. The lesson here is take a chance on myself.
NYC is always a vibe for me but especially during the holidays. The people, the food, the parties…. All the vibes that make me feel alive and ready to take on the new year. FFF is about sharing the experiences that I thrive in and the big 🍎 makes certain those experiences turn into sweet memories. ALL THE THINGS ….

The final day I went to see BLK NWS and then able to catch up with @lulub1 & @erinconnect over dinner. Checked out @DJSpinna at All Blues Musiquarium! What a complete trip with memories as the gift 🎁
Oh and yea of course I got in @sarabethsnyc 😋. I’m now sitting @milkandpull in route to JFK heading back to airport and the elements are on. “Let’s Groove” back home to LA.
As I prepare my fresh friday feature entry, I’m on a flight to New Orleans (Thursday) going to celebrate a dear friend’s 50th birthday. I travel a lot for business but rarely do I have time to enjoy new places and faces where my travels lead me. So ready to just #BE for a weekend in the #BIGEASY. Shout out Kelly Price who is traveling on the same flight. I love her voice, her catalog of work, and her energy is very calm and loving. Second, she mentioned a show that she is going to see which is one of the recommendations I made for the group this weekend before even getting on this flight. #thebrandymonicatour. So now I’m looking into attending this show FRIDAY. Will let y’all know what I think next week…..but as for this week, my Artist love @olympio_art and I will visit The #Arts District… and get #coffee ☕️. Shout out to @safiya.bailey for getting her auntie straight and sending me to The Barnett, coffee spot in New Orleans.

I’m using today to repurpose Fresh Friday Features. Being connected creates experiences. So I hope to connect with you on Fridays sharing my experiences from the past week. Or what I am looking forward to experiencing in the upcoming week where you might wanna join in.
So let’s jump in. If you know me then you know I love MUSIC. So it makes sense that I feel connected to those that are making it and using it in ways to uplift and support one another. Last Saturday, Nov.22nd, I attended the Medley of Dreams concert by Jazz Hands, a non-profit founded by Ifunanya Nweke in 2014.
Jazz Hands is a 501(c)(3) talent advocacy group that creates pathways to expression, employment and inclusion for musically motivated individuals with autism and other diagnoses. I felt joy seeing and hearing how passionate each musician was with delivering a great performance. And I also won an auction item of vinyls! For more information on Jazz Hands visit . Then I was off to Hollywood to join friends for Goapele show at Blue Note. Now I must admit, outside of “Closer” and “Strong as Glass” I wasn’t familiar with her catalog of work. But this is why I love music cause now I’ve been reintroduced to her and her talent and really enjoyed her show. So now I’m exploring of her vibe.
