The word “regenerative” is used more and more these days, so we want to ensure our community understands what it means to us and how it applies to our design process.

Inspired by the life cycle of the deep-sea jellyfish capable of regenerating indefinitely, Immortal Jellyfish embodies circularity and transparency in both concept and form. Its first imagined product, the Shelf System 01 (SS01), uses infinitely recyclable, precision-cut aluminum panels to permanently display the details that are usually hidden or undisclosed: recycled content, care instructions, end-of-life plans, and even info like wages and profit distribution.
This vision study, a collaboration between TOOOT and PROWL, stands as a celebration of shared values, creative friendship, and a reminder that good design is honest design.
Are you a brand looking to push the envelope? Are you inspired by Immortal Jellyfish to adopt radical transparency into your business model? We’d love to chat.
What if an object could tell you everything about itself: what it’s made of, who made it, how to care for it, and where it goes next?
Immortal Jellyfish is a collaborative vision study that imagines a fictitious brand built entirely around Radical Transparency. This speculative company designs information right into the products themselves instead of hiding it in the fine print of an “About” page or risking being thrown away with the assembly manual.
From the product to the packaging to its marketing billboards, Immortal Jellyfish explores how transparency can act as an inherent part of a brand’s identity.

A hidden truth with vast potential.
Your fiberboard milk carton, soup broth container, or juice box contains more than meets the eye. It goes beyond just paper. But its inseparable components don’t have to be wasted.
Photos progress through our work with @newfibers from raw material to final interiors application.
Collaboration is at the heart of who we are. Our work with Prowl empowered our development of PolyRoca into the dynamic product it is today.

“Design matters. It shapes how we live, adapt, and thrive - especially in a time of climate change, natural disasters, and cultural transformation.” - Anton Foss, 2025 President AIA San Francisco
Thanks for highlighting our work among many others who are defining what it means to design with purpose in a rapidly changing world.
Now in its 12th year, the @interiordesignmag HiP Awards celebrate the most innovative products and people in the commercial design industry. Rae, Luna, and Beam - our designs for @haworthinc ‘s 3D printed lighting collection made by @gantri - took home the winning title in the lighting category during @neocon_shows 2025. ✨

PEEL is a stacking chair, which meant we created it to easily deploy in mass for your high use spaces, whether those be for socializing, collaborating, or personal work.
With PEEL, we reinforce another one of our core principles : Measure success by practicality ⎯ Effective regenerative design is inherently useful, durable, and therefore valuable.
