Weāre excited to introduce a new artist to Laguna Art Advisory ā Greg Urquhart.
Gregās work taps into something instantly recognizable yet deeply personal: nostalgia. Drawing from childhood toys and familiar symbols, his vibrant, pop artāinspired resin pieces revive the joy, simplicity, and imagination many of us rememberābut rarely revisit.
What makes Gregās work stand out is the balance between bold, contemporary aesthetics and emotional resonance. Each piece feels playful at first glance, but lingers as something more reflectiveāinviting viewers to reconnect with their inner child and the shared experiences that shape us.
In a world that moves fast, Gregās work offers a moment to pause, remember, and feel.
Now showing through Laguna Art Advisory.

Iām excited I foundš this Piece šļøš¼ļø created by the Incredibly talented @projectgworkshop š„š¤ thank you šfor a dope piece! Also in part with āArt Searchā š . Hosted in collaboration with #CharlotteSHOUT Organized by āCharlotte Is Creativeā. @cltiscreative ,
Mona Lisa or Hello Kitty - which do you prefer? DaVinciās portrait like HK is instantly recognizable. Among scholars, the ML has significant artistic merits (DaVinci pioneered sfumato)ā¦but most people are drawn to her mysterious gazeā¦is she happy or sad? By contrast HK has little artistic merit her face is made up of 3 circles and 6 linesā¦but she is happy - without a mouth even to smile! Unquestionably joyous!! There is neuroscience that explains what happens to our brains when we see something cute and hintā¦itās all good!
Because HK turned 50 and letās just say, has been a lifetime friend, I wanted to commission an artist to elevate my childhood collection (that I gave to my niece and had to repurchase on eBay) to art. Thank you @projectgworkshop This piece brings great joy to me and our home!

Hello Kitty recently turned 50 and being a fan for life, I wanted to create something special. I reached out to an artist to collaborate and am excited that the work is almost finished. @projectgworkshop Looking forward to the big reveal! XOXO
