This is a moment we've been working towards ever since recording our debut album 'Mochari' - getting invited to play @roadburnfest is a huge honour and we are so grateful for this opportunity. It's been a year of falling and trying again - I'm very glad that there is this space where I can fall on my ass over and over again while learning something new, and that I still have a lot of time to keep exploring what's possible with these blades and this body. Still, I'm contemplating if I should try out going on real ice again during the weeks between shows, but I'm hesitating - not knowing how real ice feels like compared to this plastic ice might be better for my mental health. Anyway, looking forward to watching the Figure Skating Olympics in February, and before that, you can catch me falling and getting up again and falling and getting up again forever (and sometimes landing) and a lot of wayyyyyyy more cool shit performed by a remarkable bunch of people in "A Year Without Summer" by @floholzinger Volksbühne Berlin Nov 18/19/21/22 Krakow Dec 4/5 There will be more shows. First time I am on a long*ish support tour with my band @machukha.stepmother in the UK and EU. We're supporting an excellent, genre pushing band - @agriculture_music . I also love the spiritual sound of this ecstatic blackmetal band. Doing this requires so much dedication, hard work and commitment, especially these days.... And I'm so glad to be doing this with a bunch of people who are able to mirror this. Who are not shy to be lifting when it's time and are taking responsibility for their part to make it all work. Every part is integral to the whole. And oh my glob, yet alone the paper work, planning and organising of this is a full time job. I'm very grateful to be experiencing this - when I was a kid, I didn't even dare to dream about being in a "metal" band, yet alone on the fucking guitar - but for sure as shit it's not coming from nothing. It would not be possible without the singer of my band @and__natalya , who could move mountains with her will - here's to soaking this in and already prepping the next adventure. The rest of my year is looking like this; - Vienna with A Year Without Summer - Hannover with AYWS - Fusion with Machukha and Punx n Kweenz - finish writing Machukha's second album - get all documents and things organised for Machukha's next tour - Hamburg with AYWS - UK + EU Tour with Machukha, supporting Agriculture - Antwerpen with AYWS - Stuttgart with Sancta - somewhere in between record the new album and produce music videos for Machukha - Berlin AYWS - Stockholm AYWS - more Sancta in Stuttgart - more AYWS in Berlin - maybe go see model/actriz in Dublin because this band is one of my favourite bands at the moment and they do their thing with such guts and sincerity and make me feel so many things - Krakow with AYWS - oh shit it's 2026 now Soaking it all in. Passing through the challenges with presence. Knowing just how much I worked for all of this, how I continue to pour myself into all of this - to be able to look ahead to so many exciting things, while being very aware of all of this suffering in this world. Looking forward to sharing the next few months and these projects with remarkable people, getting to know, connect and work with new people, and welcoming other projects and challenges - and learning more about what it means to be alive right now.
