First & foremost, we have missed you, your solidarity, your curiosity, your inspiring engagement and your commitment to our common cause. All of us here at d
@w offer our sincerest apologies for the complete lack of communication on our part.
It is inexcusable, unintentional & it was surprising to us as we had never before considered the possibility of losing touch with you so abruptly & it shook us to the core. The worst part was knowing you all were left to wonder what happened... “Where we had gone?”, “Had something awful happened?”; and we no way to communicate with you, our friends, our partners & our family. We owe you more than just an apology & we are determined to set things right, beginning with this, our effort to reconnect and continue to move forward together.
And so, to that end:
This summer has been particularly long & difficult for all of us at d
@w . We collectively went through some of the toughest trials, & tribulations we’ve faced as an organization, or as individuals. As with any other organization striving to do something right & good in the world, change is inevitable, difficult, & challenging to navigate to say the least.
To update you briefly, by late spring of this year, we were experiencing a plateau of sorts with our own capabilities & we struggled to find a way to continue moving forward without losing the essence of who, and what we are together. It was during this complicated time we found ourselves having all of our digital assets being held, essentially, hostage and our ability distribute our message hijacked. We had no access to our website. We had no access to our social media accounts. We couldn’t even access our largest & most worked for bullhorn to the world that is YouTube.
But we are Back! So be sure to check our website more frequently over the next couple of weeks and let us hear from you through any channel you can reach us. We know you have questions and we’ll do our best to answer them.
