So much fun taking my dad canyoneering for the first time! I was definitely more nervous about the rappels than he was — but he’s a crusher, so I should’ve expected that, I guess. 💪🏼

Technically the north Cascades are “out of season” right now due to the SR20 closure for west side access and the seemingly winter conditions (we mostly saw folks spring skiing). But not for us and our mighty snowshoes! Honestly, my opinion of snowshoes has forever changed. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
AND I’ve had this ice axe since 2020 and haven’t used it yet, but she’s gonna come in handy PLENTY this summer. 🙂↕️
It’s been sunsets, slacking, and scouting! Established my first line solo rig which takes WAY longer having to run around both sides a zillion times, thank god for infinite loops @jeramayan that system is baller. Spokane is sweet but the stoke of the locals is even sweeter🤙🏽
