Solo Rig World Record 390m on Y2k Rig- 9hr 14min Sent in 11 minutes and 11 seconds This was a big moment for me. Recently I’ve started to consider what I want to accomplish in my life and what I really care about. Highlining is one of those things. It’s most of what I think about these days. It’s most of what I dream about these days. Some nights I don’t sleep because I’m too preoccupied with thoughts of putting a 1” piece of plastic in the sky in so many different ways. I became interested in the idea of solo rigging this summer when I didn’t have any other highliners around to help. I rigged a handful of freestyles on my own, but knew I could take it so much farther. After several setbacks over the last couple months, I was so determined to attempt the solo rig nothing was going to stop me. Last Friday I decided rain or shine I would rig the line. I sure didn’t get any shine. It was 38 degrees F and so foggy I couldn’t see 100ft in any direction - not the conditions you want when rigging a line, especially solo. The mountain slopes were a slip and slide making the seemingly perfect spot more on the treacherous side. I think I shivered half of that day - the other half I was hiking gear up and down the mountain. In 9hrs and 14minutes, I was able to rig the longest highline ever to be rigged by an individual. This was a wake up moment. I’ve got so much more to give and I can’t wait for what’s in store. Thank you to everyone I’ve met on this journey.

2 states. 2 different winters. Southwest and west coast. Whether we have snow at Colorado mountains or a sandy warm beach at Santa Monica, we always stay barefoot. Our movie “Danger do not look out” took me to the United States on a film tour showcasing slacklining movies. The sport is just getting bigger, recognized, organized. And the filmmakers/slackliners are portraying and sharing stories about crazy waterfall rigging or lines that are just beautifully scary as hell. I felt so honored to be there and to discover that the communities, regardless of the place in the globe, are so welcoming. Everyone I’ve met on the trip has been so nice! Alpine highlining takes a myriad of skills and a heart full of stoke. When you finally summit carrying a heavy pack, with ripping wind and chossy rock, only to realize the game has just begun. Walking on what feels like the top of the world at 13,600’ was such a dream! #alpinehighline

We were blessed to spend some time with @danicascales this week as he visits for the @communityhighlines film tour. The connections that this sport creates is unbelievable. We share a common passion & that invites community. I hope as this sport grows, it becomes known for the wonderful humans who participate in it. We have an opportunity to keep pushing for shared experiences that are welcoming and full of genuine care for one another. Dani is a great example of a kind soul - bringing with him not just a passion for film making but also a joyful heart who clearly wants to make others feel known - he offered to make us dinner too! (Which was delicious btw) All that said - let’s keep up the good work & keep doing what we love - together

| 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 | With big lines, some moments feel easy and others don’t, and that’s just part of it. You learn to expect the unknown, stay willing to adapt, and trust the process anyway. • Honestly, this was one of the best sessions highlining has to offer, and personally one of my favorites. There’s something unreal about believing in yourself and your crew, even when you’re not totally sure it’s the “right” answer in the long run… but you know enough, you’ve planned enough, and you give it a go • And the truth is, the difficulties are what make you stronger. Working through the challenges together is its own kind of dance and when it clicks, it’s a damn beautiful one. You’ve gotta stay composed, focused, and calm in the middle of the adversity, and that’s where the growth happens • This line had its moments, like every big line does but damn, was it a beautiful experience.
